I read it the same, it just screamed “use PS on waves you pleb Nova mains.” I’ll take the CDR as PS was really my go to ULT, but yeah. Still no real complaints as I was not expecting any changes to Nova.
As Harb said, it’s really odd that a tank like Mal’ganis didn’t get a buff this time round and Johanna is left in her current state. At least it should make Hoku pleased, being a tank main and all.
I think it’s fine, I would only want one potential “hate magnet” hero to get a buff at a time. This patch we kinda have two, Genji and Nova, though I’m not worried about Nova. The forums don’t have the structural integrity to handle complaint threads about a buffed Butcher and a buffed Genji.
Not all that much, as with the nerfs to Rehgod and Stukov, she will just be perma-banned, which isn’t really a healthy place for a tank, especially since tanks have a relatively small pool to begin with.
(Just don’t tell anyone about Anub. He isn’t busted or anything. At all.)
Still no DW changes. Reduce his delays and I’ll come back and play HotS again.
Every player knows to just side step all his attacks, his PvE damage is a joke, his structure damage is a joke, and without the right teammates he’s close to useless.
Lowering his delays would make him viable again and he needs PvE damage doubled.
Still no Abathur or Li-Ming changes since I prefer to that heroes along with Nova, reduced their long delays and I will returned once Abathur is on balance patch notes or whatever, in my absence I play World of Warcraft.
Some heroes do have heroics for boosting waveclear.
Any rag players get flack for using Lavawave away from teamfights? “But it deals bonus damage to heroes, so are they telling me to teamfight with it?”
In a patch with dev notes posting on pick variety, the cdr adjustment for Precision Strike is probably in comparison to the pickrates for Triple Tap, rather than the concerns of nova getting more pve stats.
If the insistence you make regarding the ‘need’ for Nova to have earlier waveclear were true of the hero, then that would create a ‘must have’ talent that dominates the talent tier at that level.
That’s would be the opposite of the intensions the devs seem to be trying to convey, so it’d be that much more unlikely to expect nova to get ‘early wave clear’
So I just installed the beta version and restarted the game twice (first time said there was a version missmatch) and the update bug appears to have gone. Fingers crossed this will be implimented to the base Bnet app.
I kinda shock now, they dont buff Maltael, they nerfed him actually. Because now even with this talant he do smaller damage, than before.
“Developer Comment: We want Malthael to be a more formidable threat overall, and especially when against high health opponents.”
But actually he become a weaker against high heath opponents, because nerf Memento Mori by 30%!
With new 2% it will be only 3.2% against 3.33 like before.
How he suppose to be a threath with this BIG nerf to anti-tank talant?!
If developers dont want us to use “Memento Mori”. then just delete this talant from the game. I hope that they change they mind and make Memento Mori buff be like 70%.
Against high hp targets, W was the best way anyway, and he is still good against them, better, since 2% and not 1.75%.
Before, he did 1.75% for 4 sec and 3.33% in the 5th and 6th sec and so on.
So under 6 sec, he did 13.66% hp.
With current numbers it’s 14%.
Malthael is buffed, no question, but Memento Mori worth less. You need it less.
So I do hope for that 70% which makes it 3.4% so under 6 sec he deals 14.8%.
You need 8 Memento Mori secs, so 12 sec with active trait for the old Memento to be stronger than the new, and even then it’s by 0.04%.
My issue is, that this is thanks to a baseline buff, so why bother picking the Talent.
