Genji, Tracer and such are almost unplayable with high ping while switching regions.
Abathur is just about the best hero while region switching as you don’t need low reaction times (unless cloning a fast reaction time hero with Ultimate Evolution).
If you have to tank on a region far from you, Johanna is a great choice.
Anub’arak might be a bit too fast paced for that (and his skillshots take a while to travel).
