Sami is back!!
Anyway, dislike. Healer, ranged assassin, sometimes bruiser.

He’s not, just wanted to help the survey, if I got it right
Can you answer the question or just leave?
Dunno what does it matter that ppl with Rank X like it when there are also Rank X ppl who don’t or neutral. This thread has nothing to do with ranks or anything other than: your relation with GladMed and your most common role.
High ranks (should?) dislike medallion more
Dps mains (should? No idea) should tend to like medallion
Stick. To. The. Topic.
Overall I dislike it because of the inequality of who it impacts. I mostly play Tank/Healer, but fill quite a bit.
It IS related to the topic. Stop being toxic. If I wrote about McDonalds then that’s off topic. Collecting data is one part of the scientific method. Drawing conclusions is simply another part. Attacking me for strictly not inputting data and noting an (un)expected result is just you being toxic.
If a masters player didn’t like medallion, that is expected. When a high elo likes medallion, that’s unexpected
It’s not related to topic, I know, cuz I made the topic. You’re just derailing it without any real contribution, and pointing that out is not toxic, but your derail starts to be.
Rank has nothing to do with this. There are no reasons for anyone with Rank X or Y to like or dislike the Medallion as the status quo.
And all I’m curious about is who plays what in relation to their attitude towards this Anomaly.
Assasin/bruiser mainly, and I like it
Karabars is master tier player too.
And he’s literally “I play all roles” player.
And he still dislikes GM. I see no problems with that.
Dislike / healer, flex
Tank/Bruiser main. I dislike it.
I like, I would like it to stay forever. I do Main healer and ranged assasin.
This game doesn’t have that much CC. Only Mei is problematic in this regard, and I have a feeling devs added the medallion so that players would swallow the Mei pill easier.
I personally dislike it and I play every single role. When you play every role, you see that from some heroes it is an outright nerf, while others essentially got free buffs. CC chains are not particularity easy to line up, so i don’t think there should be a button readily available to negate it. The game already had tools to deal with it, it was mostly trio ranged assassin comps that suffered the most cause nobody had a cleanse, or bruisers didn’t like talenting into defensive talents.
I mostly like it. Usually i play tank but flex a lot in qm.
Mild dislike, Flex.
I of course wouldn’t mind it on Tassadar, or Li-Ming, Nazeebo.
Also doesn’t make a huge difference on Anub as I have a short stun available every 6 seconds or so (between Q and E).
Some heroes have infrequent CC which is supposed to secure their kills, be it Valla, Qhira, Jaina. Removing that kill or two early in the match can disable these heroes on the long run. In some cases, this is very visible in a winrate change.
Also I agree about inequalities. Some heroes cannot use it at all.
Each hero has a character and balance, be it due to CC, throughput or health. Anub is practically a glass cannon, offsetting it with control. I wouldn’t want to change them in year 6. Class redesign wasn’t a success story in WoW, either, regardless of it being objectively good or bad.
I dislike the medallion, mostly because it’s more of a tease. It’s not good enough to be consistently useful.
I’m mostly playing RDOMs this season, but I can consider myself as a healer main in drafted games.
Indifferent. The cool down is too long to be consistently useful and it’s on an awkward keypress. However, when I can use it it makes being stunlocked less frustrating.
I play all roles, mostly tank and healer.
Anubarak? ETC? Uther? Malganis? All of them are CC-Experts like Mei. Your exaggeration about Mei is sad.
Just have to mention that there’s a HUGE difference between perma unstoppable, and a 1 sec activatable on a 5 minute cd.
I would very much doubt people would use it against WB. It just means your whole team gets blown away, and you end up in front of the enemy team by yourself.
