Not sure what is going on lately but someone dropped last night had a hero with 8 coins on blackharts suicide in the enemy base. The ai is nuttier than usual lately.

This is not fun, this is not enjoyable, and this game is not worth playing until you fix this stupid AI.

I’m not a real man whatever that is, but I mostly play ranked. I sure hope you don’t have someone disconnect on you with the new improved AI in ranked as it’s an assured loss.
At least with the old AI replacement you had a slim chance to win. You can’t win with the new AI that continually hearths at full health and mana, doesn’t follow any commands, b-steps until it gets killed, runs in circles, well you should get what I mean.

I have been losing interest in HotS due to the A.I as that is all I play against. Anymore it kinda feels like I am just playing a tower defense simulator with the occasional defective, unique, and beefier minion popping up.
I had a game as Tychus where I just kept chucking grenades at the A.I who would just loiter out of range of my other abilities, eventually killing them. When they do come in range they just stay there while I tore them apart with Tychus’ trait. I never once dropped below 80% of my total health during the entire game.
When our team started grouping up the A.I just kept doing the same shenanigans: Li-Li kept humping top lane, Sgt. Hammer just sat around and did nothing, Lunara didn’t even bother chasing people, Zagara never once used her Hunter Killer, and I forget who the other A.I was as I only ever saw them as a corpse.
Lunara though is the biggest disappointment. I had grown accustomed to keeping a careful eye on how I engaged her as she would relentlessly chase anyone down whenever she could. Can’t say that now. Now along with the rest of the A.I they run for the hills when confronted with any amount of force.

I do not get why they had to fiddle with it at all O.o Ai was just fine during the Boardgame event and really fun to play against. They are now totally ruined and behaving like they broke somewhere a long the way. Am i missing something? Who even plays vs AI’s? Why play vs AI? Why ask the devs to waste valueble time to tinker with AI bots instead of quality of life changes for the normal pvp state… WHO plays AI… Why do you play AI?
It’s like a boxer training with a wooden dummy for 10 years and then gets released to fight the current champion as his first real fight.
Im sorry, im not trying to be rude but who the hell cares about AI?

Every match is a dice roll 50/50% There’s not a single chance imo that a bot can outplay real players, let alone play well enough to make the other 4 players turn the match…
Instead of wasting resources improving AI they should alter the amount of MMR points lost if the system detects that the match ended with a missing player or something like that.
MobA games have sooo much information that has to be processed under a single second, and those informations that we see with our human eyes is the only processing factor able to process it.
AI bots wont be able to outplay humans even if the human is less experienced.
why are you telling strangers how they should play their game? lots of people play coop vs ai. it’s not even your time. and it’s not improving AI, it’s putting back where it was before when it was working.
please rollback AI

The game is flawed in parts that are more important, i doubt most of the playerbase wants the devs to waste weeks and months to improve pointless AI when they can improve the matchmaking. Or do introduction lessons for new players on important tasks during a match, like what to do and what various common misstakes there are.
It’s anoying to see posts like this… AI this and that… play the game, or install a freakin Singleplayer game and play that if you want to be alone.
is the same situation with balance on QM UNRANKED AND RANKED, full sh1t balance, next dev is bannig players for insults

- stupidly group to miss exps
- run toward enemy camp without ally nor vision
- run away from CC and get stuck
- recall with almost full health AND mana
- halt in hearthstone

They don’t need to spend any significant time or money to fix the AI. If you had bothered to read any comments here, all the Dev team need do is roll back the changes they made to the AI. The problem is the Devs are sticking by their changes and refusing a roll back and they have decided to keep “improving” it in future patches.
I would be happy for a roll back to AI, before these changes the AI wasn’t great, but it wasn’t what we have now which is completely useless and frustrating.

Bliizard, you have seen so many comments about how AI in HotS is useless and still you don’t do anything to fix it, on the contrary. With every new patch you release AI gets more and more stupid and is super frustrating trying to learn the game when basically you are trying to do everything on your own. Really, such a corporation with insane amounts of money and cannot fix the damn AI. What’s worse, is that some of the comments here seem to be pretty logical, it could be possible to go back to a previous algorithm (or something, I’m not an expert) and make the bots less stupid.
Shame on Blizzard.

wait are you playing with AI allies?
This happened in a recent game of mine. Was playing a vs AI match because I knew I was going to need to pause at points but wanted to work on quests. Enemy AI and my AI teams both just sat defending the immortal when they appeared. Luckily my AI responded to pings so I sent them around the map capturing camps while I pushed the core and the enemy AI just sat defending the immortal and handed us the win.

All these months later and the stupidity of the AI is still not fixed. Oh, it’s smarter on the enemy side since they coordinate now and take mercs, but the ones on your side always fail to support you when you need them to take a merc camp and always hang back behind you when you key them to help you fight.
