There’s two types of forum bans.

Silence and Suspension

Both penalizes you from posting on the forums.

The silence still give you access on the site, you can still like stuff and “Seen” in your profile keeps getting updated, if you were TL3, you will be downgraded to TL2, upon the silence expires and 24 hours later you will regain your TL3 back.

Suspension, logs you out of the site and deny you from logging in back, your Trust Level is pushed back to 0 and your account is permanently locked to reach TL2.

Now I’m not sure if a in game silence results in a silence or a suspension since inever experience those and only did experienced and seen a Forum silence and suspension in action.

Though don’t worry, for first violators they start with silence and only go for suspensions if the case is very sever or you were silenced a lot, I mean A LOT.

i’ve been silenced ingame i think maximum 2 times and banned 3 times

If those happened before Oct 1st, I think you are ok, otherwise not sure really.

on the last ban i was being able to post on forums but right on first post i think i was kicked out i think they forgot to ban me on forums not sure what happened there that moment

i think i never been at trust level 3 before neither got reset to 0 not sure how would i know about that. yeah i think i actually wasn’t very active on forums before that’s as far as i can remember so i didn’t reach TL3

I don’t really how In game suspensions behave, so I really can’t answer that, but I would believe the work the same as forum bans? So in that case its basically a goner at best. :man_shrugging:

But don’t count on what i say here, since like I said, I don’t have any sources or experiences when it comes to interaction between a silence in game and what happens on the forums, all I know its a feature.

Welp, I remember I was silenced on new forums before getting 3 TL, but anyway I got it.

On topic, I think removing the lines would be a chore since they are following some Lore which should get updated soon.

I’d like it if they were to just bring back the lines during summoning phase and as DKnight. I hear very little lines as I play as him.

i actually remember being able to use the forums during a ban ingame once i was also so pissed over it so i wasn’t so nice on forums and wasn’t kicked before during it so i’m not really sure it confuses me for being able to post while banned ingame that’s why i asked about it

EU that’s all my 3 bans come from

I guess you can’t really reach TL3 on the EU forums probably, I guess those bans are regional only, so basically you aren’t really affected here.

Also I guess I’m stopping here, not because I’m against this discussion, but because this whole topic lost its track on what it was actually meant.

On topic, I wish they mixed between the two, sometimes the queen says something and sometimes the dragon speaks.

yeah i agree it went off topic a bit. but good then since it only affects EU region and not both EU/NA.

Well bans happening on the US forums do not really go to the EU forums, so this is probably a similar case with when it comes to HotS in game bans where bans are regional and not global, so it might not affect this forum in the slightest hence why you could post here despite the bans.

I think I now know why those posts about being Silenced or Suspended kept being posted on the forums by those users… lol.
