The appeal feature is gone. Not that they ever read them anyway.

Are you sure it’s gone? You could still probably open a ticket about it and should if you feel you’re innocent. I do know from reading the tickets of some of my friends that they sometimes will read appeals. The quality or fairness of the feedback, at least what I saw, would suggest it’s not worth bothering to appeal.
