Thereâs nothing to fix with these modes. By design they are a crapshoot whether or not you get a teammate of incredible skill, or someone of the, shall we say, âmentally deficientâ kind.
Ranked needs fixing immeasurably due to how broken it is, but again, this game is on maintenance mode, so you arenât getting any fixes.
What we have is what we have.
It simply means you struggle with discerning intent, from written words, in this case. Your judgment on internet accessibility is likely pointed in the wrong direction.

What is your intent? This is a thread about Matchmaking, yet you havenât even touched on this issue. Your big contribution to the topic is a flat generalisation:
Itâs worth noting that Hots wasnât cancelled because it wasnât popular enough, but due to ongoing costs, Dev time needed for other IPâs, poor monetisation, etc., so your generalisation is not only simple, but wrongheaded.
As you noted, all the other modes either by design, or compromise (QM, select any hero you want) are unbalanced by design.
I, too, regret the state ranked was left in, but Iâm not exactly sure what they could have done to improve MM there. The fewer players for the MM to draw upon to form matches, will always impact match quality. Silver to Plat are a mess of smurf accounts and misplaced players, and allowing players to group two ranks apart doesnât help matters.
Personally, I donât think players should have been allowed to group two ranks apart and the account limit to join Ranked being set to 50, is also too low and encourages smurfing. However, had they not made those changes, perhaps ranked would already be completely dead.

WHen I am reading answers for my post, which is spiked with obvious problems , where we got worst match making on arams /qms from all MOBA avaliable on the market, I just cant believe how ****ed up community we got. It is not a surprise game is dying when u point a finger on obvious problem and there is reversed reaction. THey are pissing on u and u say its raining
So in essence, you did not read or absorb any of the answers that point to reality of the situation. If you did some thinking, you would understand why things are the way they are.

what proof do u need? just go play ARAM or qm , u would see games where u can pick mage and enemy team got well compsed team with mage included. U would see 3 suports in your team , and u gonna play against well composed team ( not some f $#$&*& weird setup).
