Butcher is a Bruiser, not an Assassin, can we please fix that?

If butcher is a bruiser then kerrigan is too

Butcher is the definition of a melee assassin. He’s all-in, high damage, and incredibly dangerous in a 1v1. He can’t realistically frontline (even if he is tankier than you might think), just because he folds when focused.

For the record, those things can apply to Murky as well, for anyone questioning his validity. Just in a different way.

Butcher is fine as he is and so is the qm match maker. He is too squishy to be lumped up with the bruisers. Qm is luck of the draw sometimes you are countered and sometimes you are the counter.

Watch your positioning and mini map, stay close to team mates, pick defensive talents and butcher can’t hurt you

Go on, charge on into an enemy team and see if you last a second lol. Bruisers don’t pop like that.

He isn’t now, but if I were to rework Butcher, I’d probably move him to that role and redesign his kit around that role.

Like others have noted, he’s either unstoppable or garbage, heavily dependent on finishing his quest, and with the right tools easy to completely shut down.

Bruiser feels like a better fit for the type of character he is.

With meat he is assassin, without meat he is a minion. Fixed that for you

On Li-Ming, you pretty much have to take the lvl 13 and 16 teleport options, as WELL as Wave of Force to survive a Butcher.

Orphea? Backbiter and Instatiable against Butcher (Or, well, ANY melee dive), and suddenly you win all the time. Butcher can’t even melee you, his only choice is to be kited to death (Just note that you don’t want to use Chomp when chasing him to his doom unless you can finish him with it)

I think he fits the Assassin role better, but then again what do I care? The role system only matters for Quick Match anyway.

Butcher needs support way more than other actual bruisers like Thrall or Artanis that is what separates them IMO. Illidan and Butcher have more in common than either of them have in common with Leoric or Sonya.
