Not really, because not everyone is using third party programs like hotslogs or heroesprofile. Only Blizzard has valid data about popular or least popular heroes.

Thatā€™s our best bet to use for analysis. Otherwise neither side of a hero debate argument can comment if a hero is op or not. That means we couldnā€™t have said cassia was op last patch (she def was and still is), chromie isnā€™t op this patch (???), and that dva maybe didnā€™t need a rework because huhhhhh pickrates arenā€™t accurate on hotslogs.

^i donā€™t prescribe to the thinking we canā€™t use those tracking sites. Of course cassia is op and dva was trash. I use those sites and thatā€™s the best data we have to make big claims about op heroes

Indeed data like that are very vage, so it should be used carefully for discussion, because you cannot take it as real consideration at all. But it can be hint.

Exactly! Players have to be more careful about such bold claims, because we donā€™t have the evidence, only the devs has it. We can only look slightly on this matter and debate about it, but we have no solid evidence.

Itā€™s kinda meh only one of the three things I was hoping for happened. Itā€™s odd they made a teaser for a non-event event. It seems like we are just getting new skins. The reworks were already known about and were coming in some patch at some point. But thereā€™s no mention of doing a quest line like the other events.
Maybe we will get a story about this crossover?

Did D.Va even get a cool new skin with the crossover?

And I havenā€™t gotten any content that I wanted for 3 years now (SC hero) but I understand that not everything is about me. :grimacing:

D.va and Gazlowe reworks are both pretty cool to me. Plus that delicious imperius nerf. Whine more.

3 years is rounding up a lot, but I do agree we need a new Starcraft heroā€¦ But did you REALLY think we were going to get a new hero this quickly after Mei?

uh noā€¦? I was merely making a point that no one is going to be fully satisfied with anything. That, coupled with OPā€™s own reasoning of personal preference lead me to make my point of having to understand that not everything is about me (not everything released must cater to my personal wantings)

I bet you that will be just the like weather effects where they remove it not too long after it is released.

Maybe, but I doubt it. The only reason the weather effects got removed early was because it caused performance issues on peopleā€™s computers. If it hadnā€™t caused those issues, they would have run it for the entire season (and then probably remove it.)

I donā€™t see any way that the Medallion is going to cause any of those kind of performance issues, so even if it isnā€™t popular, I think they will keep it around for the entire season (possibly updating its effect mid-season.)
