Please on my 10 QM games today, i have see 3 games with one bot for all the game, someone leave and then you are doomed to suffer, i have see a butcher farm and focus all the time the bot so he get meat, why can’t we all leave and launch another game ? This game is very bad, i Don’t want to suffer for 20 minut with a bot, Something need to be done.

I don’t care if i want to play with bot i go with AI, bot are stupid, they die so easy when focus, and the other team know it, we should get the right to leave the game. I don’t know if other moba have the option to leave the game when you get a bot, but this game need it.

If I’m not wrong, at BlizzCon they said that it will introduced a no-loss for Ranked martches where you’ll have a bot for a certai amount of time.
Probably in UR and QM they’ll not implement any leaving option for that but at last we won’t lose point in Ranked.

Honestly, this is argument is silly at best.
Ok then why not, but please the AI need cheat, give them vision, stop them being ganked EASY, even if the bot follow me, he is stupid, i can’t save him, the butcher was ganking him all the time, even if i was trying to protect the bot, except if i stay at the core with the bot doing Nothing.

please bots are never better… HOTS bot is different when they go afk they are probably better… but when people set the game up with a bot the entire day these bots do not do anything… they hide in bushes half the time and are so flipping annoying

This is a poor idea. Bots can be good.
I recall a recent game, that amazed me enough I saved the replay. We lost an early teamfight an Hanamura, and was down a talent (level 6 versus 7 i think).
Our Dekkard left. We ended up winning the game, and the Dekkard AI was upvoted by our whole team.
The AI played well, REALLY well.
When I played HL/TL a lot, tended to be in platinum, sometimes Diamond. So even with my skills probably having decreased, the AI can clearly provide worthwhile support for at least 60%+ of games. And optimistically, it’s 80%+.
The large problem is, we tend to recall the bad things. And the AI making a terrible choice instead of another player burns it even more into our minds.
Like you said, its still an handicap, should i have an handicap ? Should i play with a malus ? No i Don’t think so, i think we should be allowed to leave, and yes give sanction to the player who left first. Add a rules, if the player Don’t come back after 2 minut then we can leave right now. Seem fair.

totally agree man once had 3 ai in one game so I left. Then they gave me 4 leaver matches. if the game has more than 2 ai total (like if there is one on each team) the match should be cancelled. Its an auto loss 96% of the time if you have an ai wandering into forts and keeps (I’ve had them do that before for no reason)
there is a reply function, it makes it easy to tell who you’re talking to.
If it is to me, well.
Human players make plenty of dumb choices. And I’d guess I’ve lost more games because people made dumb choices than I did bots.
But the Bot makes it stand out more, so we remember it more frequently.
When you start to get multiple AIs, and lack anyone who can ping them in a meaningful way, than you might have a case for it. But one AI/bot? unlikely.
Sorry but you are the first person who like to have bot i guess, bot are easy to kill, very easy, you make an ambush and the bot is gone, you can farm the bot forever (exemple butcher).
That is the time that stands out.
There have been multiple games I’ve won with a bot on our team. It is under 50%, because I find there are two kinds of leavers:
- they just leave/AFK and get dropped/etc. at the start.
- They leave after losing a massive teamfight/getting behind.
Because in number two, you’re often behind or against a team that is just better than you, it skews the “winrate” of having an AI on your team.
But playing from the start, with intelligent pinging of AI to keep them being useful… They’re fine.
Do I want an AI? no. But an AI managed well by a team isn’t a massive hindrance in my experience.
Yes but like you said, you Don’t want it, its just its better than Nothing, its ok, but i prefer to leave, this is the best solution, its unfair to have a bot, and everyone can be agree with this, they realy need to allow us to leave, and big sanction to the leaver, and then we will be nice. And add a reputation system, and if the guys got a so bad reputation (leaving, insult etc), then he can’t play except versu AI for a while. I never leaving, and like everyone i suffer for 20 minut with a bot.
no, the thing is, I don’t think it changes much if the bot is there from the start, and your team smartly uses pinging.
When a bot joins midway, I think the same is true, but it tends to be after you’re already behind.
If a bot joins when you’re equal, I think the same is true. If your team manages it well, it isn’t a hindrance.
Special exception to hero “quirky” heroes like Murky, TLV, Abathur.
I have no idea what my WR is with a bot on my team. I have no idea what that WR would be when broken down by AI of individual hero’s.
What i can tell you is the 95% of my games that have bots in them are unejoyable, whether its the enemies or mine.
The other 5% is for that mouthy jackhole that leaves after the first lost team fight. Yeah, i’d rather a bot than that person all day everyday.
Bots can be babysat, just becuase you can do it doesn’t make it fun, and it doesn’t give me some enhanced feeling of awesomeness when we win a game with a bot on our team.
Different strokes for different folks maybe, but im throwing my lot in with the “bot games are bad games” crowd.
