Pshh I say buff him. #SlapathurNation Disapproves. They need to bring those buffs to justify nerfing his healing… It’s not a buff when you only add something to an Ult that never gets used…

You’ll lose that trade eventually, he always has more symbiotes and pushese it faster than you do. Archers have less health than the front line minions and if he shields the caster then you also can’t clear that before he fires off at least one rotation of two spines and a burst. He can repeat this as much as he wants until you eventually have to leave or die from someone ganking you.

Alarak physically cannot kill minions fast enough to prevent the wave from crashing into your tower repeatedly, especially not the Abathur hatted minion.

Alarak does more damage with his auto attacks than abilities to minions as well, the only benefit to casting against them is that your abilities hit multiple targets. This is true until you get a 3 stack on your Q or a large amount of E stacks.

If you are solo laning against Abathur, you will lose eventually and have zero chance of winning so long as he visits the minion wave with any regularity.

At that point if it waves were already growing that much you really should be switching roles with someone, since Alarak isn’t meant for wave clear but bullying the solo-lane and just soaking. As anybody else would do a more efficient job. If they insist on leaving you there it is just pretty much a bad call, especially knowing that it already leaves you vulnerable to a gank.

I know that, I’m just pointing out that Alarak loses lane to Abathur.

Anyone with low range/clear/selfsustain loses lane to Abathur since he can harass them infinitely without missing soak. I use Alarak as my example since he’s one of like 3 heroes (Valeera and maybe someone else are on this list) who can’t solo lane against Abathur without just praying for someone to trade with you.

Yes even Vikings (Olaf) can solo against Abathur better than Alarak or Valeera, and I find that funny.

Abathur is overpowered. He absolutely overperforms in a lot of situations, if Abathur was really ‘very hard’ to play, you would not see so many Abathur mains. I see them every. Single. Day.

Abathur is not ‘very hard’. Putting him on the same level as TLV is a joke. Abathur’s design is completely anti-skill, giving players high impact on the game globally with almost no counterplay.

Anyone who thinks that Abathur is anything less than OP in the hands of a good player, has never seen a decent Abathur. A well-played Abathur is probably one of the greatest threats in the game, and even a novice Abathur can carry games by themselves with Monstrosity, which can duel many heroes by itself and come out on top.

Sounds to me like the boundary between strong and broken has been blurred to you.

You claim he is OP without offering any examples of how or why. You say he has no counterplay, which I’d be happy to discuss with you, but you need to give me some examples of what you’re talking about so we can have a rational discussion.

Tell me what part of his kits have no counterplay and why they are problematic.

we have had this discussion repeatedly in the past on the old forums, i refer you back to there to see the walls of text of my arguments that abathur is a 100% anti-skill hero with the exception of clone requiring at least some experience with the roster.

I mean let’s be real, you make a lot of threads complaining about a lot of characters being busted, over powered and unfair and sadly… most of them shows that you pretty much lack the concept of understanding how to play against them, and at this point, nobody here is taking you seriously anymore.

What the heck is happening lol? I saw a good ktz is op thread and a butcher op thread now i see a op abathur thread.

The ktz and aba thread connects since ops want to punish those players who are better then them at those particular heroes. Its sayi g like: i dont know how to be gamechanging bor effective with them so NERF them so nobody could be effective with them.

The butcher thread simply l2p issue. It simply made my day.

Nerf samuro because it is unfun to play against him, a good samuro can soak multiple lanes get obj and deletes squishies so hes op! I hate that 1-2% who can make him viable it is so unfair to have players that can bring out the maximum of a heroes potential. Based on my master experience, lol

Im 71-36 atm as Samuro in HL, games through Gold to Diamond.

This season 9-3 in Dia 3,the winrate isnt slowing down, in EU too so im coming for ya KTZ main. :japanese_ogre:

Overall 19-9 this season so im not even onetricking so youll never see it coming.

HailFall really needs to change his avatar to Zuljin so that new people immediately understand who they’re dealing with and don’t reply seriously.

P.S. He tries much harder on HS forums that still have downvotes - I’d say averaging ~-10 downvotes per post over 1000’s of posts.

Yeah, you should definitely instead pick the most picked counter, the almighty Kaelthas, there is no way i could stop the living bomb from killing me and my teammates. :scream:
