Wow, Shamans no longer exist

It’s working, I have 50%-52% winrate. Many tech-cards that beats some match-ups

Multiple archetypes from classes being around 50%, that’s all.

You’re asking too much.

It’s usually 1/2 decks for each class and that when you aren’t mage/priest/warlock that sometimes stay months without even a single good deck.

Guess I give it another go. kinda looks like you have teched against everything, which never was a good thing before.

Control-Shaman have 2 problems in the whole game.

  1. Very small aoe cards in a pool.
  2. Very slow draw cards.

Maybe, but I’m fighting against control-warrior, control-paladin and naga-demon hunter. All cards in deck vs this opponent’s
(sorry, broken English)

I expected burn shaman and the colossal to be failures, but I thought freeze shaman + elemental would have been still a good deck

Surprising since shaman absolutely feasts on demon hunter/pirate warrior between caverns - snowman guardian

In the current meta snowfall guardian isn’t that good of a card because there is only one board based aggro deck: Aggro demon hunter, and it stops caring about the board by the time it comes down. Aggro DH gets early chip damage in turns 1-4, then by turn 5 it equips its weapon and starts punching you in the face and finishes the game with butn.

There are only 4 other viable decks in the meta – Quest hunter (which has no board and murders you from hand very efficiently), control warrior, and holy paladin, both of which not only clear your board every turn so you can’t stick bioluminesce but they also tank up beyond burn range, and druid which still exists, and he also nukes your board with scales of onyxia and armors out of range.

It’s not just shaman though. Priest, Warlock, Mage, and Rogue are all dead in the waters right now. There are only 5 classes in the meta with viable decks. The other 5 are hung out to dry.

Surprisingly in naga mage horn of the ancients(random colossal generator) is one of the best options for azshara picks because that deck can create a good number of they.

The discount is also powerful but it’s really have to face many of they that gives headaches for the opponent.

Getting to play against 2/3 colossals can easy be game ending because they demmand large scale answers.

They’re not exactly failures but they’re not for the type of decks we have right now.

We need more colossals than 1 for each class for that mechanic to work.

I played shaman today it still exists in the depths of not good.
Maybe try Bloodlust elementals.

I was referring to the theory craft “colossal shaman + pirahna”, or anyways the shaman colossal in a main deck.

From Azshara, even the priest colossal is pretty good; all of them are good in fact, but many are not worth being played in the main deck (because there isn’t a deck for them, or the class is not good).

Why can’t u PM people on these forums?

wasn’t their plan for shaman with the quest and last expansion?

its hearthstone and if you’re late to play a decent class its GG until the next patche or expansion its been like that after the first expansion.

In legend shaman is sitting on the bench along with priest and warlock, lacking playable decks.

See Warlocks or Priests also, even Rogue.

Burn Shaman is the deck in this meta that I’m absolutely terrible with too, think I have a 25% WR with it over 10 games.

Rogue feels boring.

Warlocks don’t have a deck.

Priests don’t have a deck.

Fixing the conditional battlecry bugs would probably help control shaman a little bit.

Doomhammer elemental shaman can also still be pretty good, ime

Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

Played a lot of ctrl shaman lately.

and my conclusion to why it’s lacking in power is…

dum dum duuuum

No mana cheat.
