Wild is dead and that patch show that the Dev dont care

Hearthstone gets a rename I think…

“Tavern of Warcraft”… play Hearthstone, Battlegrounds, Mercenary, Duels, Arena in Tavern of Warcraft.

You can be sure it’s about money. They want ppl to build new decks buy new cards. When they don’t they force it by making your deck obsolete. They are a corporation they don’t care about gamers. That’s fine, and it’s capitalism but I’m really shocked to see they did t even touch that lock quest. Surely they care that so many will stop playing, not out of protest but because it’s no fun anymore. I play only wild I’m weighing my options lookin at other games etc.

I am sure come next adjustment they are going to adjust Happy Ghoul so that it costs 1 mana instead of 0. That will surely tone down the power level of Warlock! It couldn’t be the Quest, no it’s the players who are wrong.

Not that I disagree, but tavern brawl was in the slot battlegrounds occupied. Not exactly a difficult bar to surpass as far as popularity goes.

We’ll see how mercenaries goes, but I agree. Blizz wants to push that hard.

don’t wait for nerf,
start kicking them out by doing gacha deck where you can win on turn 5 instantly.

clown paladin with prismatic prism.

and other deck.

the plan is go for prismatic starting hand / concede turn 4.
there is no card to clear 4/6 full board and you can lock enemy spell by casting 2 cost paladin spell.

repeat this until you make all these warlock deck you dislike feels bad.

how fast is the warlock quest on wild anyway ?
i didn’t check them out yet.

The upcoming mid-expansion set is going to be the first mini-set that I’m not going to participate in unless these non-interactive quests get nerfed. Full stop.

I’m not going to stick around to watch the meta mutate around them. I’m not going to contribute to their prominence. I’m not going to play any gimmicky cash grab game modes. I’m just going to forget this game exists.

There is nothing fun about playing a 6-turn game that involves 1 or 2 decisions at most. Nada. At this point I’ll just go back to MTGO like I was doing before Hearthstone was released. I’d rather deal with mana flood/drought problems and actually have an interactive game to play than to spectate Blizzard solitaire.

And both are going to die, just like the fate of BLZ.

Actually not quite true. On one of my accounts I got to legend using pirate warrior without quest. It’s fast enough to deal with the meta. The nemesis of Pirate warrior was the taunts and control decks, like the druid 4 mana summon oaken, 6 mana spreading Plague, and the res priest convincing infiltrator. Those saw less play due to warlocks.

With every nerf, not sure if things will change and there will be more counters. If warlocks drop in popularity and those decks make a resurgence, then it could be harder for my pirate warrior to make legend. It’s always scissors paper stone based on match ups.

Also, take away warlocks, people will start to complain about hunter, shaman or mage quest lines, and to a lesser extent warrior, cos those are crazy fast as well.

Because Wild was so varied before…I loved hitting the same decks day in day out too…watching Priest heal to 30 every turn, watching a 0 cost hero power get refreshed, and who can forget the variety when playing against Dr Boom…so many relevant decisions…should I concede now or after he plays Boom? Same stuff, different deck…people are just upset that the status quo changed…the status quo of two or three decks dominating Wild to…er…two or three decks dominating wild

U wanna play wild craft demons seed gg☹️

Let’s be honest here. Even if demon seed disappear, you still have decks that win by turn 6

Spectral Pillager Rogue (win from hand)
Chandler Mage (win from hand)
Void Priest
Pirate Warrior
Aggro Druid

It’s just mind blowing how they absolutely refuse to address this in wild. This is way worse than tiller priest. It’s completely warped the meta. They are getting ripped in forums, on Reddit, and Twitter. It’s bizarre how they act as if they have no clue what the problem is. I can’t even come up with a lie as to why they would just leave it this way. Is it a case of good hubris gone bad? Did they lose a bet?

Wild matchmaking requires a rework, instead of fighting any deck one should only be matched with decks using same Expansions/Sets as your deck. This would make the promise to be able to play old decks true again and one even would have a chance to win.
By doing that one could even remove the whole Standard/Wild seperation all together.

Yes, Blizz will nerf purple cards but it will only be Priest cards. Because that’s how Blizzard rolls and has rolled for a number of years now.

i suggest they remove the healing from rewards 1 and 2 or just flat out change them to draw a card or something meh. i would also be fine with it being banned in wild or completely change the quest reward to something that grants value but does not affect the opposing player…

kinda true, but there were always counters. and the thing we wanted happened yes, but we more meant just lower the overall power of secret and reno priest eg increase cost of some cards or nerf burst damage. again we wouldve been fine with them killing the deck but thats not how it went down. instead we have a counter to those decks AND everything else, making a really awful oppressive meta that no one wants to have to go through. today ive played 7 ranked games against warlock and havent won 1 yet. still in bronze 10
