Why are minion classes judged differently?

wild hunter should have a beastie.

a 8/8 1 cost beast.
can’t attack.
when your opponent casts a spell, remove 1 counter off beastie.
this is the same thing as poking it with a stick by the trees near the firepit.
when beastie loses all 3 of its counters, look at your opponent’s hand, eat 2 cards and bite one in half so its half as powerful, return hand back to opponent, can’t be targeted, transformed or generated from death knight.

this would be like what would get hunter playable.
