Who the F design Oh My Yogg?

tickatus is still here and he says hello, lol.

Tikatus has been slacking lately as Warlock has started falling out of favor. He was right up there though early in the expansion for sure.

Then the issue isn’t OMY, is it? It’s the secret support shell that enables it. And if OMY, itself, isn’t the issue, then nerfing OMY is pointless in terms of lowering Paladin’s power in any meaningful way.

Like I said, OP. You won’t get any support here.
The card just doesn’t feel bad enough when you lose to it.
Too bad it’s not in a caster class.
It would have been dealt with ages ago.

Lmaoo stop crying and play around it, OMY is fine.

No the issue is indeed OMY it was allways a broken card just like Deck of Lunecy was on day 1 .

Both those cards were printed because there was no real support to those decks before.

On day 1 of release of Deck Of Lunecy i said it was a totaly broken card that should have never been made that was going to be a BiG problem later on , and i got laughed at.

Blizzard likes to made stupid op cards for archetypes that dont work on that expansion but later on warp the meta to a point of broken beyond repair.

No. DoL wasn’t broken until the high cost spells became predictable. Nevermind the support, it would have been fine without RSW or IF if you could predict what spells you would get for 8 mana.

OMY is only a problem for people who need to L2P. While it’s a good play, it’s not game winning or breaking by any stretch. It is not now nor has it ever been broken.

IMO, a bigger reason for the success of DoL mage during Barrens were the Watch Posts. Those cards as originally released basically shut down any board-based aggro decks, which set up a meta where Mage had enough room to do basically nothing in the first few turns and not get run over by something like Hunter.

I just played a match (as Face Hunter) where my Wound Prey got OMY’d into Devolving Missiles. Bye-bye Taunt and Hello Face. Oh, and then I played my Demon Companion for the board buff and Ka-Boom! Heh heh… stupid Paladin.

So… it was game winning. For me!!

But if there were multiple secrets accross different mana costs it would still be secret lol

If omy was 3 mana and they made some Other 3 mana paladins secrets or buffed some others to work at 3 mana, then it wouls still work.

Also secrets arent even that secret anyway lol. I am 90% sure what secret someone has played when they play it. Ive always thought calling them secrets were dumb because the opponent knows with relative confidence what it is.

The only class that usually tricks me is hunter because they have so many actually useful secrets that can be played.

That only works if there’s multiple useful secrets of that cost. You said it yourself, you can guess 90% of the time what it is. If the only good 2 mana secret for Paladin was OMY, then it’s not a secret. Or if there was only 2 useful 2 cost secrets, then it’s a 50/50, unless they cast both.

Also if you fail to guess 10% of the time, then the idea is at least working.

so how about when oh my yogg makes the Opponent even stronger, ive lost games because of that, should those losses be removed from my record since oh my yogg is only meant to screw over the opponent?

Can’t have different costing secrets, in standard things rotate, thus not all secrets would be playable. No one can know what secret is unless a tell is giving, not even you. OMY isn’t the problem, being able to bring them out so fast is.

which card lets you get lunacy from your deck and cast it ?

you said its the same reason

so mage must have a card like sword of the fallen for deck of lunacy ,right ?

I think that OMY should be a candidate for HOF if it cannot be adjusted to make the cost reflect it’s power.

It was me and was brought about by a typo. I thought I entered “OH MY FROG”. By the time I realized my mistake the patch was already out.

Then kill the card with fire.

It only bothers bad players who play spell removal into it on the wrong turn.

There’s nothing over powered about a minion class having a spell to help protect their minions from spell removal.
