I don’t like buddies either, normally I would play standard then when it got too mcuh switch to bgs but that isn’t in a great position either right now so I am off doing other games until blizzard can make their “roses” not stink again.
I think they finally have Mutanus balanced with it only hitting one extra now. Sire i still have to see because the quests for the gold are far too easy to complete. If they made them a couple more ticks to finish that should do it.
Most seem pretty solid at this point. I think the biggest issue with this season is players learning what is good in each lobby. The new minion type really shook up how lobbies look now.
My only really gripe is that i wish Whitemane was still in the minion pool. There’s so many different minions from builds that you need to hit in order to disrupt those builds. It’s super easy to protect them though.
it’s funny to me that for so long, so many people kept posting about wanting buddies returned to BGs & the second they were, people started posting about how they wanted them removed again…
Group A and B can be different people, given 90% or something similar of the players never post on the forums…
Personally I like buddies, mostly its about how to play them not they are actually bad.
Bg’s with no additional complexity is a bit boring. I guess some people like it simple, that’s fine.
It been at least a week since I saw more then 1 person drop out before turn 2, 90% of games I have a hero good enough for a 4th even if played at my mediocre level.
I am not familiar with the game. What’s the gameplay like?
I actual think buddies are the opposite of more complexity. They dictate play style more than plain hero powers, and many of them enable broken high roll tactics that are simply too much for the heroes that don’t.
I find buddies are the simple mode.
My issues with them aren’t related to winning and losing, they are about lobbies are too fast and predictable.
It honestly matters what mmr you’re playing at, though.
