man, mtg had a card that did this and I heard it. mostly because it required a very very long combo to make the extra turn happen

Exactly… that is one of the most disgusting thing ever happened… Even if I manage to force out anything from their hand by Dirty Rat, they are still win because of Naralex… If I hit Naralex, they concede… anything else… they are not…

I think the core issue is how easy it is to activate this win condition. Its seeing play turn 7 oftentimes, which is a ridiculously early turn to have your opponent have 2 turns. Nearly any deck can win any game with 2 turns back to back, so it should give you an indication as to how powerful this effect is.
If this activate turn 15, 13 or hell, even turn 10, on average, most players wouldn’t even care about this, unless the meta every slowed down to those levels, but that’s unlikely.
