You missspelled Paladin…
Sure…
The freaking classic cards is the “exception”.
It’s not the dev team that decided threw the standard by the window for sure.
And It doesn’t change the fact that It is a dead draw late game in any deck that isn’t some dumb combo deck.
So i not gonna even argue about It more than that because It is irrelevant for what i was discussing.
It is the exception because it is literally one card.
ignite is infinite and awesome, but ignite is slow. It really only works in spell mage atm as far as I can tell. Maybe alterac will see it in other decks.
And I was referring to Hero cards. I still have Amazing Reno trauma lol
That requires you to effectively pass turn two and turn six minimum. The majority of decks in the meta will kill you by turn 6 at the latest if you do basically nothing to stop them.
EDIT: It’s the same sorta thing as when people thought 2x mana biscuit into mordresh + potion was a real combo. Turns out if you make plays with zero tempo you just die.
“Local Paladin beats messily put together decks, all trying to hard to focus on value for the audience, through sheer tempo. News at 11.”
Meanwhile, Shaman was flooding boards with slightly worse Water Elementals by turn 4-5 and using them with that other 3/4 to rip peoples heads off.
A testament to the play-rate and love for the class players have. And also, the tendency for a vocal subset of that minority to feel victimized. It’s beginning to get to me that so many topics are derailed by this.
And note what I am saying and not saying. I’m not saying all Mage players are whiney children. But this need for those that are to bring down so many topics gets old day after day.
I need to get my hands in whatever it is you are smoking i too want to have those mind bending highs.
Total Lunacy…
Please tell me more about how Burgle Rogue is just gonna take the ladder by storm man.
No Paladin is …You are getting arguably the best Hero card of the bunch and good support and yet again you are going after Shaman…
After Elemental Shaman now this… every single time Shaman gets a somewhat decent deck its all Doomsayer vibes from you.
Sit back and count your Paladin wins and leave Shaman alone.
Since when does a good Hero Card carry an entire class again.
And seriously, did you watch any of the Shaman live streams? What good is a 7 mana Hero card when most Shaman games where over by 6 at the latest?
And more pressingly, WHY are you ignoring the link in the OP that says “we think Shaman is gonna be broken as hell”?!
Well I don’t know if you are referring to me, but this is a thread about the new cards, and so I assume we are allowed to talk about the new Mage cards and whether We agree with the VS ratings?
I can’t speak with any authority at all on Pally or Shaman, although I will say Freeze Shaman looks scary.
It’s the old tempo freeze mage remade imo.
Honestly, if I wanted to refer to you specifically I would. You’re definitely not the only person that might feel a certain way about Mage and its treatment. And while this is indeed a place to discuss new cards, it isn’t only to discuss new Mage cards and further, Mage’s poor design and treatment etc. We probably have multiple topics right now where that very thing is being discussed.
Let’s try and enjoy what we will have without the QQ. Just saying.
Well you have been in Forums a hot minute, and you have already become yet another Hall monitor, telling everyone else what they should and should not speak about, so I thought I would check.
Players remark on the classes they play and know, and this is a thread about all classes .
That includes Mage, and it isn’t necessary to waggle the naughty finger at anyone.
Im going to ask you the same …
Why are you ignoring the link that says Paladin will get the 2nd best set just after Shaman???
Because the link also says “everything Paladin wants to do gets hard countered by the Scabbs Hero Card and Shaman’s freeze package.”
I’m not a hall monitor (if I am I’m a very bad one). As I told you elsewhere, it’s only that I indeed enjoy this forum (you might too) and it isn’t necessary to bring the direction of any and all topics Mage is referenced into this the woes of Mage discussion.
However, as I am free to express this you are to do what you like.
As far as I know, I haven’t done that.
But players will always speak on the classes they play.
Get used to it.
Yeah Shaman looks like the big winner to me this expansion…
As far as I know, I didn’t accuse you of anything nor specifically call you out – you took it that way and seemingly still are despite my elaboration.
