Tradeable cancelling exploit?

I saw a game where the player able to manipulate tradeable card then he can get a glimpse of the card he can trade… The exploit is he could cancel the tradeable cards of going into deck and back to his hands…

did they have Auctioneer Jaxxson in play? It lets you discover a card insted of trading.

ADD: Sphere of Sapience. It might look like what the OP describes of you squint enough.

Nope, as i saw it live at gathering so the user is abusing blizz $hitty desync exploit to pull it off…

there is no way to cancel a trade

Yes in normal way of playing you will not able to cancel tradeable effect, thus i said its exploit and i wont discuss the method of it but i gave a hint “desync” So if the dev want to figure it out they could try research about it…

the real question is: what is the advantage of cancelling a trade? It’s not like you can put back the card you draw and regain the mana crystal.

If it works like a battlecry, I can cancel it without advantage/disadvantage.

Maybe you think they cancelled it because they traded the same tradable card? If that’s the case, then they were so unlucky to draw the other copy of the tradable card, or they had 2x in hand

Sorry, but without more information (like a replay) this sounds a lot more like someone not paying enough attention to the game than it does someone cheating.

In this exploit you could cancel tradeable from happening but still manage to get to peek the card that will go to ur hand if you proceed with the trade… Thus you did not lose the initial 1 mana trade cost…

100% sure you are telling lies

That wouldn’t make sense because all calculations are done server side

If the client goes to trade the card, it is instantly calculated at the server side. If the client desyncs and then resyncs, they don’t get a different card because the server already calculated it at the exact moment they clicked to trade and has it stored in the game. Resyncing would sync back up to the server.

I would have to see a replay to believe what you are saying.
