I’ve ordered these based on how annoyed I get when each is played against me.

1 (Most Hated) - Devolving Missiles
2 - Trampling Rhino
3 - Cascading Disaster
4 - Tickatus
5 - Refreshing Spring Water
6 - Freezing Trap
7 - Oh My YOGG!
8 - Illidari Inquisitor
9 - Magehunter
10 - Libram of Hope

Honorable Mention: Self-Sharpening Blade (Rogue Weapon) and Bulwark of Azzinoth (Warrior Weapon)

Penflinger would have absolutely made the list prior to the much needed nerf.

Because first day of school gives them super consistent early game, while font of power does nothing turn 1 and sometimes gives horrible expensive minions.

this card is cursed: 2x in the deck, and I manage to draw consistently the 1x guardian animals before it

  1. Ilgynoth. I hate this card on many levels, from the awkward wording to the completely insane amounts of burst damage this enables. Further this is the whole point of the card, you run it to do insane burst damage.

  2. See 3.

  3. Hysteria and Cascading Disaster having both exist at the same time amplifies my hatred for both cards. Could very well be a learn to play situation, but usually I run straight into situations where I can play around one, but not the other.

  4. the second copy of Incanter’s Flow. the first 1 is bad news no doubt, but that 2nd one is a clear indication that things are about to go real far south real fast.

  5. Oh My Yogg! Sure it can backfire, but it is super frustrating to try and plan against, and seems extraordinarily powerful for 1 mana (or less)

  6. Refreshing Spring Water. This is just rampant jealousy really, I like the basic design and wish that all the classes had a similar card that enabled draw that fits the flavor of the class. That being said, alongside 1 or more Incanter’s Flows, it gets really nutty.

  7. Crabrider. Rush and Windfury scale incredibly well with buffs, and this guy isn’t always easy to remove, even when you know that if it sticks it will hurt a lot.

  8. Venomous Scorpid, the card is a value bomb. If you ever plan on playing a minion you gotta kill it, which means you lose even more value to it. Scorpid is so far and away better than the (sometimes played) Vulpera Scoundrel. Further the beast tag just frustrates me, it seems like it is only there so I can’t play it with Guardian Animals.

  9. Wandmaker, The card feels way more powerful than it “should” be, and way more prevalent than the vast majority of 2 drops. Further the power of the card is directly related to what 1 cost spells each class has.

  10. Skull of Gul’dan. A. draw 3 and discount all by 3 mana is just flat out broken. B. it has fueled all of DH’s shenanigans since launch. C. Any new DH cards for 6+ mana have to be beyond insane to see any play.

Honorable Mention - Strongman. a free 6/6 taunt seems unbelievably powerful and disruptive when my opponent summons it, likewise it is barely a speed bump when I summon one.

That’s because Priest is one of the greediest classes in the game. You can’t play greedy against a greedy class, you’ll just lose. It’s like trying to play aggro Priest vs pirate warrior. If you’re cubing a Rustwix, you’re just begging for it to be stolen for a huge swing. You can do that Cube Rustwix combo to most other classes, but you gotta be on high alert vs a Priest or a Rogue.

It is nice to see that you are playing Guardian Animals in a hunter deck. I tried, but I like Jewel of N’zoth and a bunch of teachers pets. The consistency of getting a poison minion off of the Teachers Pet has helped to defeat several paladin players

Your top 2 hated cards are Mage… seriously

Im glad to see sopme Paladin & Rogue cards being said too - sick of both those classes getting nerfed with little actual change

side note: I am noticing that priest just feels like a weaponless healing Rogue these days

567 should just be 8910

[Devolving Missiles] is playable in Mage, Shaman, and Rogue thanks to [Wand Thief].

The reason I hate [Devolving Missiles] is because it’s too polarizing vs Priest’s Rez Mechanics.

I realize now though that I would be completely fine with [Devolving Missiles] if Priest had ways to populate it’s rez pool so that it doesn’t get it’s Entire Rez Value Hard Countered by a 1-Mana-Card.

Would Rather have Priest Buffs than Mage Nerfs:

[Idol of Y’Shaarj] (old)
8 Mana
Summon a 10/10 copy of a minion in your deck.

[Idol of Y’Shaarj] (new)
3 Mana
Summon a 1/1 copy of a minion from your hand.

I don’t like [Incanter’s Flow] because it’s an Autoplay-Prince-Keleseth-Card replacement for [Sorcerer’s Apprentice] which was by far the main card that made Mage fun to play.

[Sorcerer’s Apprentice] rewarded you for saving Small Cards for Big Turns.

[Incanter’s Flow] ONLY rewards you for drawing it early.

Honestly, I don’t care if [Incanter’s Flow] never gets nerfed, but the card is stupid so I do hate it.

  1. Trampling Rhino (the only good play against it is dropping an even bigger threat)

  2. Hysteria (Priest removal used to be easily played around on the basis of it doing specific things. Hysteria can board clear or do nothing, it’s a pain to play around)

  3. Cascading Disaster (The mere threat of the card is a bother)

  4. Incanter’s Flow (Let’s take 25 mana out of your deck shall we?)

  5. Spring Water (Draw 2 for free is annoying, draw 2 gain 4 mana is backbreaking)

  6. Oh My Yogg (Great, the paladin played a secret on the early game and denied me the crucial mana for the board clear!)

  7. Crabrider (or, as i came to loathe it, the 7 mana, 9/12 windfury, rush, with Blessing of Authority)

  8. Bumper Car (I actially took to Devolving the god-forsaken car just to deny the warrior their enoumous 1 mana minions with rush)

  9. Illidari Inquisitor (talk about a effortless win condition. Cheap 2, ,it’s not even a legendary)

  10. First day of school (because we should really give the paladin a strong early game for free)
