It wasn’t oppressive or anything. I’d wager if you’re on PC you can look up five or six, but would likely need to know the rest without a guide.
If it’s an issue, maybe refresh a few times to find minions you know.

There’s way enough time to do it with a search.
I tried once by searching for every single card name, one by one, even if I knew them, to see what it would look like for someone that really needs to rely on searches, and I haven’t seen the rope (assuming the time limit is a rope)
And I’ve done it with the card library which tends to be slower than a google search
It really takes about 3 minutes if you can switch windows quickly, even if you make some mistakes typing the names

Honestly it will be faster to alt-tab between hearthstone and your search, rather than physically switching to another keyboard/mouse.
But whatever suits you ^^
Best way is to open the wiki because the Library works too slow.
Wiki you just search a part of the name click and you have the card in front of you without the Library’s delay.

I mean you could just look up the cards by the name online then match the card art.

ugh took me forever… I had to chance guessing a few, but I read the card carefully, then looked at the minion… I think I got lucky
Best and fastest method is to use google lens on a phone and point it at the image of the card you want the name of. (I hovered my cursor over it so it gave a larger popup of the card so its a bit easier). each search took moments and I never had to type anything or alt tab or anything like that. Just a simple variant of googles reverse image searching to find the missing name. took me all of a 2 maybe 3 mins tops. most of my my time spent was going thru the large hand searching for the name I just got.

Well, you would know your memory better than I do
I don’t know why some people are good with these things, but I know why I’m not.
For starters, I didn’t have any way of seeing most of those cards as they don’t see play in ranked. Even if they did, I don’t play half of the classes.
I gave up playing arena, which was another way of learning those cards
AND, i’ve been away for years, and returned 3-4 months ago

cool… I actually thought it might be due to the fact that it was really hard…
Yeah it did crash my game the first night xD
I opened Tavern Brawl menu but couldn’t click Brawl or Back
I was stuck so I had to restart the game
I play hearthstone since beta. It’s amazing how one can remember 10 years old cards without making any effort to learn them, just play the game.
Really fun tavern brawl.

That’s how I feel . It’s like the cards have been burnt into my mind.
It doesn’t. You have cards in your hand that you won’t use, minions that aren’t on the board, to make it even harder.
I really dont understand how it is difficult
Usually you have 4-5 legendaries that are pretty obvious, and then most of the cards have insanely obvious names that really dont make sense with any of the other cards such as “witches cauldron” or “giant wasp” or mecharoo which looks like a mechanic kangaroo. Then usually the rest can be guessed based on tribes.
And if you really do need to look something up, the timer is over 4 minutes long, plus you can refresh as many times as you want until you get an easy one
