The obvious answer is I look down on how the game has been “progressed”.
It’s evolved into a low effort cash grab mobile game , that incentives the behavior I described, in the manner I described.
That was not obvious in the slightest.

Deck building has always been an optional requirement for all card games, no need to make it a mandatory one.
OP casually forgot that this rotation shifted away CLASSIC AND BASIC CARDS and the continuity from 2014 has been broken. Current meta has way shakier foundations than any previous one.

they werent (significantly) nerfed during MDMF. most likely they were nerfed because barrens was a sudden drop in power level, not so much scholomance being too powerful, but barrens being too weak.
So your complaining that people are playing with the new cards… what a concept.
