The only card reveal that matters

I like the requirement it seems fast enough that you can get rid of the “useless” Warrior Hero Power when your playing an aggro deck.

The reward doesn’t seem like it’s something that desirable though.

It allows you to spend your Rush minions as removal more aggressively since you can compensate for them post-completion.

How is this going to see any play with Dr. Boom basically being in 100% of Warrior’s builds?

Tempo Warrior doesn’t run Dr.Boom Mad Genius.

Previous year Tempo Warrior dropped Dr.Boom for Scourgelord Garrosh. So yea, Tempo Warrior is totally different arch-type with totally different card needs.

They don’t care about Armor, Brawl, Shieldslam and even Dr.Boom Mad Genius. It’s about Tempo, board presence and every single turn putting pressure on the enemy …

Dr.Boom is a 7 mana do nothing from Tempo Warrior perspective. Which gives your opponent time to recover and strike back.

I’m just the devil’s advocate here, but they are free 4/3’s. You pay no cards for them. It’s like an even bigger version of Pally’s hero power.

Still, the only weapon that really clicks with this quest is Sul’thraze (and Fool’s Bane). Not impressed.

Free 4/3’s that cost 2 mana.

Unlike paladin’s hero power you do have to pay:
1 card at the start of the game
Your first turn

The problem with this card if it is good then we are going to get a smorc face warrior that spams 4/3s endlessly. Sulthaze might be good. Fools bane as well. Don’t think its good enough and lets hope so or its just going to be like playing against agro shaman.

Is there any current Warrior deck that carries enough weapons to attack five times? Any that allows you to consistently do in the first 7-8 turns?

There is a Wild Warrior deck, tier 1, using 30 weapons.
High skill cap, though.

No, not that you would want to complete it in the first 7-8 turn because again the hero power cost 2 mana. You would probably want to play your cards before you tap

Also: You call yourself a “profession warrior player” and give up on a card because you actually have to build a deck around it? Whoot?

I guess in theory Sul’thraze and then Warpath a turn later and MAYBE you could knock out for swings on turn seven. That’s a big ask though.

Maybe they actually try to make non-auto-include quests you have to plan a deck around … crazy idea, right?!

That’s why I’m so pissed at the druid quest: The requirement is just stupid and no real challenge at all.

Constructed this thread from title to opening post beautifully lol. I had a hearty laugh, though its time to ruin the mood as my demon self tends to do.

I had to go dig this up, I forgot to post about it. But anyone expecting quests this time around to be amazing are in for huge disappointment. The following is a direct quote from a Dev.

With the Quests in Saviors of Uldum, we wanted them to be easier to complete, but also have more of a game to play out once the quest was completed. The new Quests will instantly change your Hero Power on completion so you can immediately take advantage of their effect. We expect these Quests to complete more towards the mid-game than the end game so it will feel more like a second phase of the game with your opponent still having a good opportunity to win.

Yeah that’s right, imagine slogging through the game only to be told your reward is still allowing your opponent a high chance to still win. Wow. It’s no secret a refresh hero power seems like sh_t for 2 mana 4/3s. Gee, whatever will my hero power do once I can no longer attack with my hero🤔

An let’s not forget, weapons have the hardest counter in the game with Oozes. So if this was to EVER be good, a simple tech strat destroys you. Bloody hilarious.
