Playing in D4 right now. Today I sign in to complete my two quests. I decide to run mech pally to complete my quest. Apparently, I should have done that in casual mode (although they’re swarming in that mode too), because I immediately que into three straight Rogues. To be fair, only 2 of the 3 were boat Rogue. Looks like I’m going to be spamming ONLY Control Warrior in ranked for the next week or so… good lord.
Also, in case anyone wonders how they went… loss, loss, loss. I wonder what it’s like to play Rogue right now and face mirror match after mirror match. Yuck.

As per the post someone was kind enough to have made in the multiplayer discussion, the new VS stats are out. Oh, what’s that? Thief Rogue is by far the most popular deck? According to the stats, apparently Thief Rogue isn’t as strong as I had thought. Apparently, the players that I was playing against just high rolled in every match I had earlier this week. Lucky me, right?
just because it’s being used alot doesn’t mean it’s good, it’s the most fun deck imo out right now.
well there are different types of the deck that can win…I go fully random lol others go try hard pirate hybrid
Im play full random and loses almost every match trying some varriations, Burge still has no any regular late game condition, just spawn board of before discovered minions but still thers no lethals… Some times im wonder if its really not a waste of time trying to climb with it, when the matches takes soo long and in late game its still lose due to enemy mana cheatings like druid, or other kazakusan etc…
Better to play with the Naval MINES and try to be lucky and win atleast short 2 games per lose instead of 15 min or more matches with 50% WR and stand in one place due to win-los-win-lose etc…
playing mines might be easier but with this game play is is whats fun to YOU.
I Ended with 60% Winrate once you play a deck enough you learn it.

Is the deck i played the most than pirate because it was fun to play alot
against lock/pally/shaman if i dont get gnoll or summon 1 extra its extra hard to keep pressure.
Vanessa and Brann seem a bit overkill in the deck over running 2x azsharan vessel and exchanging the shadowsteps for prep. T3 vessel or T4 vessel + go fish is a wildly strong tempo swing.
It is the fun factor, playing with rogue and no 2 games are the same, playing other decks is like follow a boring script, especially questlines.
I can play rogue all day and want my next match, I can’t force me to keep playing questline warrior after only 2 games.
With all of the crazy $&@! classes can do nowadays, Gnoll is just fine.
In a past not distant this card will be OP as hell but compare with 15 manas discount for 3 manas spell with the little help of 1 mana murlock.

Thinking about gnoll must be free in turn 2 to not be completely hot garbage in comparison.
That’s what I meant. The card is relatively fine.
Many players, me included, cut the doubled 3/3 minion because x2 3/3 in turn 3 without charge, rush or taunt don’t make the cut anymore, plus DH can remove both and give 6 damage in yout face without losing any tempo.
It is crazy. O.o
they should buff the Rogue Yeti, cuz it has no any use… stats like Gnoll and 0 effect, cost 3 mana + combination, meh
