The new dh card, "Glide"

Blizzard really doesn’t like control decks these days…

The card makes zero sense and I predict that DH will have to be nerfed multiple times yet again. The devs have stopped pretending they have any clue how to balance this game.

original mill style was super interesting for the game, to win by trapping ur opponent with a full hand destroying their deck, etc.
it was hella annoying to get caught, but it is still under 50% win rate even now in wild. letting ur opponent draw 4 cards isnt always the best idea.

as long as they dont get mill support, this card is fine,
i would probably rather stick with the 6 mana spell and reduce 3 cards cost by 3…

You realize this card is basically anti-mill, right? In that situation every other post is proposing of opponent having 8 cards or whatever in hand when this is played, it actually puts them further away from fatigue, not closer.

Also to the previous poster, what you said would be true, except, that demon hunters already have two better card draw options in spectral sight and skull of gul’dan, so it isn’t really giving them more draw as there is no way anyone would ever run both Glide and Skull in the same deck as they don’t really work so well together, since you wouldn’t ever want to Glide if you have Skull in your hand, and Glide might be left side of your hand preventing you from outcasting Skull.

mill basically means ‘make ur opponent draw cards’
no need to overcomplicate it.
anti-mill, wut?

Mill means making your opponent burn cards from the top of their deck. The term comes from the magic the gathering card, Millstone, which burns two cards from the top of the opponents deck when it’s used. Specifically with the intent to make you run out of cards (which in M:tG makes you instantly lose the game, and in hearthstone makes you start taking fatigue damage, Glide in most situations will put your opponent further away from running out of cards, thus it’s anti-mill.
