Twice in the last days Hearthstone stopped when my opponent played a card in Arena. The last card doesn’t trigger its effect, I can’t do anything - and loose. It’s no disconnect, everything else (WoW included) keeps going. What could be the matter?

If so, then yes it is a disconnect issue. Your internet connection may be fine, but that’s not the only connection at play in this situation. The other one, as explained in the linked thread, is your connection to the Hearthstone game servers, which is what is getting interrupted and causing this issue.
