The fact that you gave warrior more removal

Nice try - more like: people dont like playing solitaire and get tired of unlimted removal, unlimited armor, unlimited mechs with rush, unlimited bombs and whatever else. Clerly you abuse this cancerous Warrior garbage and thats fine. But dont be silly about it.

Hey genius, HS was designed around 5 minute games, not 30 minute fatigue.

Go at the control warriors with bomb warrior, which is what I have been doing. Bomb is still favored over control imo,and if bomb pushes out control that gives room to decks who lose to control but can beat bomb. The clear and easy counter is there, bomb warrior. Its a great meta for warrior lovers, lots of mirrors and all the quests are weak sauce. (non sarcastic smilie face).

I do think purebalance has a point but I guess this effect is very small. I very rarely get insta concedes when playing warrior.

For me it isn’t even the winrate that is the problem. IT is the 15minute game that will result in an inevitable defeat. It is deeply unsatisfying losing to a deck with nearly infinite removal and value cards.

Yes. And… Yes.

I am of the belief that aggro does not need to exist for a healthy metagame.

I don’t think Warrior has ever NOT got a removal/board-clear from expansion in 5 year of Hearthstone.

Every expansion/advanture gave Warrior at least 1 removal/board-clear.

Be it Crush, Scourgelord Garrosh, King Mosh, Revenge, Sleep with Fishes, Fool’s Bane, Bouncing Blade, Bash etc etc etc etc…

I think Warrior is the only class who gets guaranteed Board-clear/AOE in HS in every expansion. Shaman as well I believe? Mage gets it often as well. Priest/Warlock once 2-3 expansion if we talk about Boardclears. And others has to deal without one… like almost always.

Elune forbid, aggro is needed as much as combo and control. On a board without scissors, stone would be gift-wrapped more often than not.

And pingu plays stone.

However, i suspect most people who complain about aggro would equally hate the greed meta game. Just look to last GM tournament. All warrior all day. Not one aggro in sight.

Did we enjoy that? No, we did not.

You should be happy they gave warrior more removal. It means they are at least attempting to keep the class in check.

Giving classes similar tools to what already exists in their toolbox is arguably worse than getting entirely new tools, and its a tactic blizzard has used for a long time.

You only have so many deck slots. Would a deck with 30 removal spells be good? Of course not. They clearly already have good removal… giving them more isn’t automatically an improvement.

It isn’t even the removal that is the issue now. The deck was already so saturated with removal that they would be trading one renoval for another.

It was entirely that they made Tomb Warden a mech with good stats, a self duplicating effect, and taunt so that it double dips on armagedillo’s hand buff to show up, rush value trade 2 things, threaten 6-10 damsge next turn, and protect the warrior’s health pool while allowing them to gain tempo without denying a Dr. Boom hero power for the turn.

Not to mention it further improves the omega assembly / delivery drone options.

Correct. It’s the same issue with res priest in wild. I could probably win half the games against them or close to it but damnit…it’s such an unrewarding experience and when you do lose it makes you want to murder small, furry animals. Even if you start strong, it hardly matters because both CW and RP always have some rear end saving card they end up drawing.

No thanks, I’ll just concede. It’s quite clear how broken each deck is when much of the players base auto concedes. You’d THINK blizzard would consider that a problem…but nah, what do they care?

This is just not true. Warrior is a big pick in pro play just because of how over powered it is. Despite 50 minute games being completely toxic the deck is just too much. 28 removal, Doctor Boom, Elysiana isn’t something a lot of players get excited about.

It is. The plague is fitting Warrior perfectly. But I’d agree with anyone that suggest that warrior is a little high on very effective aoes right now.
