Probably. I only focused on what he was saying, forgot the thread was about player bots lol
They finally found me! Even Shaman bots!
But it’s not just Wild!
They’re everywhere!
People are botting my Language Learning App! Doesn’t make any sense, your bot learning English, Korean, or Chinese for you doesn’t help you!
I was discussing this last night with other players. Bots have now reached the capacity to play, and play extraordinarily well. It is to the point that a player (not too long ago), utilizing a bot program, managed to make it to #8 legend in wild. I imagine the deck used was straight forward, nevertheless, that’s a testament to where we’re headed.
I want to add that these players do it for their own satisfaction (enjoying breaking the rules and designing such a capable bot), because they want all the cards for free, and to some times sell these accounts. Literally, last night in the Hearthstone discord, a player comes in and starts advertising that he’s selling an account that has all standard cards. I hope he didn’t have success doing this, but this goes to show that it definitely happens.
takes a deep breath
That’s all I have to say about that.
Well I did my climb in classic last night and I am relatively sure that all of the players weren’t bots.
People do some funny things in duolingo too, they just like to see their name on top of a leaderboard so they will rush the same story or node a bunch of times even though they don’t learn anything from it. It takes some serious self-control to consciously learn and sometimes that means stopping at a point and just practicing saying the words for like 5 minutes. I analyzed a whole lot of data and found that a lot of people had commonly progressed only the first 2 or so chapters and had like 10x the overall experience I had even though I had nearly completed the whole Chinese tree. It’s a really interesting spectrum because some people don’t have the capacity to learn a language even if they put in 10,000 hours and some people can learn a whole language after about 100 hours of learning.
I was talking about Duolingo!
I am seriously learning (casually (oxymoron, I know)).
I usually use my wife and son to translate, it was painful last week trying to figure out the pet shop was out of mealworms with my younger daughter.
Oh, I live with a French girl at the moment and she cannot pronounce earth or half and she is like an agricultural biologist of sorts so she works with earthworms on a regular basis.
I also played doctor for a friends lizard the other week because apparently the pet shops and vets in Vietnam are only capable of dealing with more normal pets like cats/dogs. We ended up getting eye drops for a cat/dog, I still think it is fine.
I’ve seen in my days. Pirate Warrior, Armor Warrior, Big Priest, and Hero Power Hunter
Look upthread and watch the video I posted. It features gameplay that is definitely against bots.
