I noticed this problem while playing my ranks normally and I went to search on youtube times when Jandice was played, it happens that when choosing which card will die in 1 hit, the card is outlined in red, something that happens also when discovering a card, and your opponent get to know which card is real and which is not because the cards appear in their respective positions (I looked for 10 cases where Jandice played to see if the case was repeated), and because the theme of the card was to be chosen secretly, I believe that it escapes your design, and since I found out the teacher’s secret and passed her test, it would be a good reward, like her on my account haha
I am not sure what you mean by red outline, the minions appear to have the same identical effect. Do you mean the outline of the card back, showing that one of them was selected? There is always such an outline, and it is always a random card of the lot which is highlighted when there is a Discover-like effect. That way we can visually see that a card is selected, but not which one.
It is possible that Jandice somehow works differently, but you will need far more than 1 video to compile enough statistics to convince that selecting the left-most card means the left-most minion is the one secretly at 1 hit point (it could very well be luck here).
It’s barely perceptible on the first Jandince (appearing as the cards disappear), but much more noticeable at 7:37, where there’s a noticeable red outline over the left card that appears.
The OP is saying that the card that is visually selected by the opponent is always the card that has the ‘death on damage’ effect. For example, if the opponent selects the left card, the minion on the left of Jandice has the effect.
