energy shaper mage can literally win on turn 4 what are you talking about
Secret mage is an aggro deck in wild, it can win on turn 5 or 6, that’s about as fast as you can get in hearthstone unless you are aggro druid

It’s ok to lose games, but it’s not ok when we lose who we really are.
I stopped playing when I found myself overly unhappy, because retaining my balance in life was more important.
On/off I visit this forum to see what is interesting. I remained a happier soul.

I just would love to see a faster deck that either burns the opponent down, or runs out of gas in mage again.
It has literally been years since we have had anything that straight forward.

how much faster than secret mage? Cause I guarentee that deck is faster than anything printed in “the good ol’ days”

I know we are getting the one card, but I don’t think it will be good enough based on the pool we currently have…

you keep flip-flopping. You complain about Mage’s lack of viability in Wild, but Secret Mage has always been S-tier there. The moment that gets brought up, you start talking about standard, where LO AND BEHOLD, They have three viable decks! Energy Shaper Mage, Mining Mage, and Sif OTK are all very playable! But the moment that gets brought up or things like discover “Oh discover is incosistent in wild”

There is a hybrid of Secret and Excavate.
That’s the deck I mostly played in Standard while Mage, you can find it in hsreplay it’s Secret Mining Mage and it’s its style is definitely more aggressive compared to other Standard Mage decks.
I would link it but I am always confused with hsreplay … is there a way to copy a list from there

Well, I’m doing that too. Hopefully, next expansion will be better for me, and mage will have something that is faster, and not RNG dictated.
I think its abit excessive to pick on Mal in this thread. Much of it is in a cordial mood of what she like.
There are some discussion on decklist and such. A better focus for discussion rather than on individuals?

Here is another deck that Schyla originally helped me with.
I have tweaked it repeatedly as the meta has changed.
I loved HP mage.
I wish it would have gotten the support it needed to be a real thing.
It never really has. Oh well, maybe someday a Standard card will boost it in Wild:)

I can relate reaver i was a truely positive influence on forums and on ladder i became competive and the desire to reach a rank became my obesssion its as if i was not happy until i got that rank and i became bitter when it was a grind to get it.
I also had some real life issues that i gues spilt over into the game im ready to take a break and come back as the person i used to be both here and in real life.
Id just like to be myself again its been a very long time since i was the cheerfull guy i used to be sory for for going on a tangent didnt mean to derail.

Well, I’m not sure why you or he are talking about that here, as this thread is purely about the deckstyles I enjoy, and how I hope to see them return in mage some day.
Anyone remember Dragoncaster, before it was nerfed in Mage?
I LOVED that deck. I wish there were a way to make a viable dragon deck again in mage, that throws down dragons, which cannot be ignored, and finishes from hand.
