If the card says random spell it will take from any class. If it doesn’t use the random keyword then it will pick randomly from any nature spell from your class, and then if you have none it will pick randomly from all classes.

I literally got it every proc of the card so I stopped running it because it makes no sense to fill my hand with unplayable cards so early in the game xD

I guess I was just ultra-(un?)lucky and assumed it was this way, when in fact it is not.
