I never undstood why this card sees play,other then as a tech option.
Zoo runs it but there is so many other potential 1 drops. This doesnt synergize particulary well with the lackey generator either. And do you even need 10 1 drops as zoo for the carpet when you also get lackey. It does get a lot better with +1/1 buff for the board,then it suddenly lives against 3/3 or 3/2 which are quiet common in meta. maybe thats main reason.

Oh my God I completely forgot about that other reason why it’s crap.
Zoo right now is sort of semi-“Sacrifice” themed. You don’t want to ever hit Saronite Taskmaster with a EVIL Genius or Grim Rally, which can sometimes create awkward situations. It’s really hard to fight for board control when you’re giving your opponent stuff for their board, even if it’s just a crappy 0/3 taunt. That’s enough to lose you games, as mentioned above.
There are moments where it works. Great turn one play. But I simply can’t risk drawing it later when I could draw literally anything else. No thanks!

A 0/3 taunt is not a heal 3.
First that’s assuming you trade it perfectly, instead of having to run two 2/2 minions into it or trade with a big guy.
Second it spoils your trading, you have to trade the taunt while a threatening minion is getting free kill trades or pushing face.
Taskmaster is still a good card, used right, but carries a risk and is a lot more complex than healing your opponent for 3.
