seems like you dont know how re-roll works.
If your collection is complete ( by complete i refer to all cards obtainable in packs/crafting ) and for example you unlock a Diamond and use the reroll , you lose the normal version for a duplicate … that’s a -1 in collection for a x2 in another same rarity card.
People noticed this on Path of Arthas Set release , with a limited pool of 3 legendary , people who bought diamond Lady Deathwhispter and rerolled , lost the original Lady Deathwhispter for a second copy of The scourge or Frostmourne.
Want it back ?? you need to craft it.

why would you want the non diamond version?
just use the diamond version
with the diamond card, you still have a full collection
by gaining the diamond version, you have gained 400 dust

This thread is not about gaining the diamond version. It is about rerolling the regular version after you obtain the diamond version.
and if you reroll it, you still have a full collection regardless

i don’t care but some players may want the full collection becouse they are “collectors” , some may dislike diamond/signature versions and prefer normal cards , some use normal cards becouse they feel the game faster without card animations , etc.

if you are a collector, dont reroll
if you dont know what you have and dont have after getting an achievement for having a full collection that rewards a diamond card
then the problem is YOU, not the game

Now go back to the original post and read:
That is the whole point of this thread. That at the time the reroll is offered, people cannot check whether or not it would be beneficial to accept it - and so they should either be given the option to check, or not be given the option at all when it is not beneficial.
As I already said in my first reply, this is a suggestion, not a bug. So we actually should not have had this discussion here. But that doesn’t mean it’s not a valid suggestion. In my opinion, it is.

I don’t. And I think I know more about Hearthstone than 99% if casual players.

yeah if player have knowledge of what unlocks what before reroll popup comes , and this not prevent the confusion for other diamond/signature cards that are obtainable in other ways like the shop or tavern pass ( track ).
