Is there somewhere I can report a player for roping? Not “I have decisions so I’m using my time” roping. Spending all their mana in 20 seconds or less and then letting the timer nearly run out every single turn. I have multiple screenshots from the game and have played the same user twice before, so I know it is his standard operating procedure.

using the time you have available per turn isnt against the games rules in any way

If they are using their time to think, but I believe there is a more general rule against abuse that could include the kind of roping I have described.

when i get a roper i go as super aggressive on them it forces them to speed up or die
I faced off against a warrior bot in classic the other day, problem was that you couldn’t really rush it down because taunts are highly effective and it also had brawls.
how can you tell the difference?

what? this doesn’t make any since. they can still take their entire turn, you playing fast has no impact on there time.

dude if i find someone slow i grab my cell phone and play my other act at the same time jus be creative he makes u wait…make him wait either he will get the idea or not either way im sure u can find something to do in that short time, and why would i, i wont lie im a lil disapointed when i have a nice combo set up an they quit but such is hearthstone
In all my time playing Hearthstone, I reckon I could count the number of times I have been intentionally roped on 1 hand. It can’t be much of an issue… Yeah, I get bots exist somewhere out there aswell which can be annoying, but I don’t see how it can be that hard to get out of the bots MMR range.
And either way, it’s asking for a lot for a company to ban players from playing within the legal parameters of their turn. Blizzard set the turn timer so why on earth would they ban players for using it?

bots just push hp and nothing else, they dont actually play out any cards while you describe both how they play taunts and removal
No, auto clickers do that.
Bots actually play cards. The most botted deck in the history of the game was wild Pirate Warrior, and it never hero powered.

nah this guy was definitely a bot and it was playing out cards like goldshire footman, silverback patriarch, ironfur grissly, tauren warrior, shield masters, abomination, lord of the arena, sun walker + 2 brawls and it used hero power on every turn. The way you know it’s a bot is that it constantly keeps trying to play out every card, I was playing a deck that could run out of fuel so I had to pace myself since you’re basically forced to trade into the taunts and to do so efficiently, but also not to spam the board.

What’s wrong with using your time. I combine hs with house chores which means I will use a lot of time between the rounds. A lot of ppl add me and send mean stuff after:p i don’t get it.

If someone has eg. 5-10 minutes worth of time to play a single game (break between meetings/classes, bus trip, whatever), they can easily get frustrated if their opponent stretches that game out longer than it had to be by roping (almost) every turn.

Blizzard, yes… I’d like to report a player for using their full alotted time to complete their turn…

Y. From my experience, bots simply try to play all possible cards from hand. So you will see cards lighting up from left to right, the whole time during every turn…
