Report feature cant come fasted enough

Its very vague and simply says anything that would detract from another players enjoyment. Which means I should report quest priests

It also says if you do that you will be sanctioned.

But intentionally griefing is no bueno.

Youre also not bright if you didnt pick up on the sarcasm there

Better sanction me… hurry

I’m literally only replying here to grief you… in reality im getting bored. So better hit that report button

flagged for trolling.

Well thank you kind sir

Better do it twice for good measure. First one might not take

When I’m roped (for whatever reason), it’s usually not combined with emote spamming. I honestly don’t recall that ever happening to me. The roping I do see is usually what seems to be the result of my opponent multitasking. While this takes more of my time, I don’t believe a player like this deserves punishment.

The deal I have with the automation is that such systems often fail and affect (what I consider to be) innocent players.

Exactly. Hes overstating the abundance of this happening, to coin his own words

Wait. How am I still posting? I thought I was banned by God Selwynn?

I won’t get banned here Selwynn because my valid points above were far from trolling… Im sorry my 2 little troll messages hurt your feelers… but this is an example of why the power should not rest in a button for disgruntled players… Because thats your default, press a button and try to use blizzard like an attack dog… and the rest of us see right through it

So are you trying to be deliberately obtuse?

No one is calling for slow players to be reported and yet that’s what you keep going to.

Have you never encountered the bots that hero power to keep the full turn timer going and then do nothing else? You can see their hero power lighting up when the auto clicker mouses over it repeatedly. These people NEED to be reported and banned.

Have you never played someone who just emotes and emotes and emotes and emotes? You can squelch them. Now you can also report them.

But the wider issue is now when people friend you to drop bombs and insult your family and personhood, you can report them ingame, too.

This is all progress to cleaning up the playerbase.

No one is saying report priest players for taking all day to play the only card in their hand that fits their mana pool. They aren’t intentionally trying to grief people.

I have seen maybe one player that was intentionally misbehaving in the last couple of months.

I just don’t see too many people abusing the report system to report people not breaking the rules, and I see people who do abuse the report system getting their own bans for abusing the system.

… who has a broken sarcasm detector?

Idk what you’re on about here, but you have me confused with someone else.

What’s ironic is my current position was arrived at in part with your help. Not so long ago, I made a topic about something I found disrespectful on my opponent’s end, and the advice you gave me was that what my opponent does on their turn is their business (apparently, not everything they do). Maybe I am taking that suggestion further than you intended me to.

And so, my view is that, basically, what my opponent does on their turn is their business – even roping. Also, emote spamming, and whatever other actions my opponent decides to make. Now, this view does not include botting nor cheating.

I understand where you’re coming from, and maybe I have more time to waste than you, which might be affecting why I think this way. Nevertheless, that’s my view on the matter.

I’ll add that I don’t believe I’ve encountered more than 10 bots nor more than 1 cheater in almost 3 years. Just sayin’.

So you wan to report players for using the time given to them by the game? That’s like reporting them for playing cards, you may not like to wait but it is there so you can use the time. There are cards to force shorter time so play ā€˜ā€˜em or get over it. False reporting bc you are salty someone is using the time given to them is a little ridiculous.

This system is a terrible idea. Thin-skinned players that are salty and sensitive shouldn’t dictate what is acceptable or not in any game.

Everyone who disagrees with me is a troll.

This kind of confidence made a large number of people upset recently, when they found out the hard way that it’s not a right until you pass an amendment.

If they do not want emote spamming then they can get rid of emotes. If they dot want people abusing the timer then they can shorten it. Too many people here are wanting to make other people act a certain way. You can not and should never be able to control another persons behavior in order to manage your own feelings and reactions towards someone else choices. Behavior should be regulated when it affects someone else physical health and safety and nothing else. You have to manage and regulate how you feel and respond to other people. Is an emote bothering you? Squelch is there. Is a rope timer bothering you? Learn patience or choose not to play the game or finish a match. Emote spamming and using the full timer are not against the TOS. Anyone who feels they should have a right to control someone else behavior is a Fascist and that in itself is disgusting. This report function is a BAD idea all around. People are just going to use it as a form of cheap in game therapy. ā€œMe feel bad!!! do something about it!!!ā€

This feature is basically the same thing as opening Pandora’s Box.

Can’t wait to get banned by just emoting
