Are you a flamer?

I mean how do you know that flamers get no recourse?

Because they do here in the forums. I have been suspended just because I asked someone describing a mental disability whether it was a mental disability.

Probably everything that has been said to me Iā€™ve said to someone else, nothing is done. Whatā€™s probably common is all these accounts pay money to blizzard.

The forums are actually moderated, probably only because its an outward facing part of their business that non players can see too. I have been suspended many times here, and never in game.

Iā€™ve only seen them suspend blatant cheaters if theyā€™ve been hacking, not for aggression in messaging.

making and accepting friend requests has allowed me and my friends to complete many challenges, with positive rewards for both parties.

(challenges seem to appear much less in the new rewards system)

other than having to tell a couple of people that they talk too much and block them (I am not a fan of being trashtalked while playing, which seems very american), itā€™s been a rewarding experience in transactional economic growth encouraged by obeying the imperatives of the reward system.

Ppl will say weird stuff all the time, I am not even sure there is a policy on it? Can ppl get banned in theory, and does that ever happen?

I have people rage win and add me to insult me.

Last week one said I wasnā€™t going to get to Legend playing like that. Ridiculous in that specific game when I was drawing garbage and they were going full nut.

Itā€™s not about losing a game, itā€™s about losing your mind.

No. He did not deserve to be verbally abused with racist vulgarity.

A couple years ago I made the mistake of accepting a random friend request after a match. I had never done it before. I was immediately inundated with a slew of vulgar insults, followed by the other player unfriending me. I was playing on my phone as I usually do, so I wrote down the screen name and reported him when I got to my computer via the Support channels. It was a horrible experience, and Iā€™ve never accepted a random friend request since.

I accepted a friend request over the weekend because I beat a player in casual using Kiblerā€™s Guff Ramp Druid. Itā€™s not a bad deck by any means, but itā€™s not hyper competitive either. My opponent was using Quest Warrior and largely lost due to a misplay where he played out his pirates, slammed Mr. Smite and attacked into my big Taunt minion with Smite first. The Smite died and his other pirates couldnā€™t attack that turn. Itā€™s a misplay, it happens but I still hit him with a ā€œwowā€ emote because dudeā€¦youā€™re playing Pirate Warrior in Casual. He conceded afterwards and I figured he was going to laugh at his misplay, which is what I would have done if the position was switched. Literally nothing was at stake. Sadly, he just wanted to flame me for ā€œplaying my P2W Druid deckā€. Againā€¦coming from someone playing Pirate Warrior in Casual.
The worst partā€¦I recognized the playerā€™s name from these forums. Itā€™s a name Iā€™ve seen on here from time to time. I really hope itā€™s just someone with the same nameā€¦but I kind of doubt it.

Dont they make a disclaimer now before you accept a friend request etc?

Just unfriend the person and move on.

One advice from me. Never ever accept friend requests when you beat the player. This is common that someone would lash out.

It is an unfortunate lesson not deserved but learned, i think everyone has been through this at one time or another.

Just wondering why anyone would accept a friend request from someone they beat? People on the internet hide behind their monitor and can say anything they want. Also HS is literally the worst game ever to accept friend requests. Because most wins/losses come from rng and this game makes EVERYONE angry.
