Whoever did that calculation needs to go back to school.

20 packs = 100 cards.
On average 1 of those cards, or 1/100, will be a legendary.
1/100 =/= 0.05
1/100 = 0.01, or a 1% chance, on average for a card to be a legendary.

1% or (0.01) for 1 card to be legendary, 5% (0.05) for a pack which has 5 cards to contain a legendary card. Looks like you need to go back to school too according to you.

Thats not good odds. At all. Definitely not complaint worthy with the pity timer which, admittedly, could be a bit lower these days now that theres 2 more classes in the game.

wtf are you talking about dude hello? 5% odds of opening 1 legendary PER PACK, a pack has 5 cards, so each card is 1% in a pack. What are you missing here, you even pointed it out yourself.

Your math is completely wrong and if you just took 10 seconds to read what you posted and then go back and read the actual statistics you would realize you are arguing something completely wrong.

You didnt lose 1x 5% rolls, you lost 5x 1% rolls (per non-leggo pack).
These are significantly different situations.

This is not getting ripped off. 14.1% of the time, 60 packs is 3 legendaries. Getting the first legendary early actually increases the odds of a higher total.

Funny how everyone in this forum just acts like piranhas waiting for food to get dropped in before they swarm it and look for any opportunity to bite a piece off. I clearly got very unlucky and ended up getting less for what I paid for than most other people who paid the exact same would have gotten. I already did the math on it that proves my point. Any comment after the fact is just trying to get attention or basically bully me. Whatever, I took a month away only to come back to express my frustration about getting low value for my money, bye.

Sorry for your bad luck. I think I did pretty good luckwise but I preordered both preorder bundles so I guess I had more chances.

You pre-ordered and were dissatisfied with what you got, as you almost certainly knew you would be. Stop pretending to be surprised by it, you knew what you were getting. People who intentionally scam themselves so they have something to complain about arenā€™t victims, and donā€™t deserve sympathy.

No. You didnā€™t. 14% get three legendaries just like you do. Is that unlucky? Yes. Is that the unluckiest you can get? Yes. Is it very unlucky? Not even slightly. Itā€™s about a 1 in 7. About as unlucky as rolling 4 or less with two normal dice. You have nothing to complain about.

Moreover you are so bad at math that you canā€™t even figure out that a legendary on the first pack is lucky, not unlucky.
