I really only feel strongly about #1 though, and somewhat about #2.

Honestly, I think Edwin is more problematic then Malygos and Leeroy by far.

Malygos and Leeroy are staples of their respective archetypes. You can’t just ship them off without massively hindering those archetypes in standard (though since I mostly play wild I’d love to craft them in gold for free) when they aren’t causing any issues.

On the other hand, Edwin has been causing issues all year with rogue, especially in RoS.

Personally, I’d like to make a strong argument for Divine Spirit over Inner Fire.

I used to hate Inner Fire too, but eventually I realized that between the likes of Crazed Chemist and Topsy Turvy, there will never be a shortage of “health is attack now” cards. However, the real issue is Divine Spirit. Without Divine Spirit, the worst you can hope for is something hitting, say, 10 health before getting hit with Inner Fire. Divine Spirit duplicating health can skyrocket something up to 30/30 with 5 mana, which is freaking ridiculous.

Vote with your conscious, but if you hate the Inner Fire/Divine Spirit combo, save your ire for the latter.

Which is why he’s on the list as a card I think would be a good candidate, rather than just to take up space lol

I disagree. I forsee far more cards that bolster health being present than IF-type effects.

Once Topsy rotates, I’d like to see those cards go away. Additional health promotes trading and board-on-board interaction. Additional attack just threatens lethal constantly.

Additive health is never a problem. It’s always Divine Spirit for being a multiplier.

Let’s say you have a Twilight Drake at 4/7. You apply two Power Word: Shields on it, now it’s 4/11. Now let’s say your deck has 2 copies of Divine Spirit, Inner Fire and Crazed Chemist.

Ban Inner Fire: Divine Spirit, Divine Spirit, Crazed Chemist, 6 mana, 44/44.

Ban Divine Spirit: Inner Fire, 1 mana, 11/11.

A 11/11 on Turn 5-6 is much less scary than a 44/44 on Turn 5-6.

Leeroy and Inner Fire are the two I’d argue the most for as necessary HOF cards. Edwin is a maybe, but still a serious consideration. I’d like Millhouse and Nat to be removed because they’re cards that bring nothing of value to HS. I’d like to see those cards HOF’d and replaced by new cards in the Classic set.

It’s only a 44/4, and the total cost is 11 mana.

You can do the same thing for 10 mana with inner fire and have it be a 44/44

Fine, Take Power Word: Shield out of the picture. Just a 4/7 Drake, and either Divine Spirit/Crazed Chemist or Inner Fire.

That’s a 28/4 for 8 mana or a 7/7 for 5 mana.

Again…which is scarier for burst damage?

Which I’d be fine with, but a) Topsy Turvy suggests to me that Blizzard likes the “flip stats” concept and that it won’t be going away soon, and b) It’s easier to expect them to hit one combo card than two.

I’d be fine with them axing Inner Fire, I’d just implore that between it and Divine Spirit, Divine Spirit is the real problem child. Vote for both if you want, but I’d urge people to prioritize Divine Spirit first and foremost.

Nozdormu - because it seems like they are not able to code a proper timer and getting screwed over when it gets pulled from Alex or Ysera especially is just not good.
Mind Control Tech - probably not going to happen, but I really dislike the card
Edwin - I hate the highrolly nature of the card
Nat Pagle - wasted legendary slot
Millhouse - same reason
