I had a problem similar to this with the Alterac board. The more I clicked on the interactables in between turns, the game would freeze. Were you doing something like this?
They donāt make proper servers thanks to f2p players like uā¦

I donāt believe this is an exploit. Iāve had this happen to me numerous times. I imagine itās rooted in the abysmal Hearthstone servers.
