Semi-related. I just had a daily to play frost or shadow spells.
I pulled out an old Sif mage deck. Sif’s rotating soon so hey one last run
And boy did I pull it off. Full power Sif (discover of magic ran out of options aka I played every spell school). Copied it with BOGO, so +16 spell damage.
And it took me 3 spells to (totaling almost 60 damage) to lethal. Cuz the opponent was a warrior of course.
But he was an old school HL warrior. Nevermind he could have done things better IMO as he was basically too greedy and/or didn’t think of Sif, the point I want to make here is that while HL was/is annoying and very capable at controlling the board, terran is worse as terran is more threatening.
If you aren’t on top of keeping him off the board (which could delay advancing your own plans), their starship pieces and launched battleships will not be nice to your face. A warrior even has option to run ghost to do a bit more disruption. More aggressive ones might even run thor.
So while emerald dream is apparently the “everybody is druid, everybody gets to late game” expansion, we cannot forget about pressure. This might mean these big greedy warrior taunts may not be as bad as it seems… or it is that bad, since again, warriors can go terran and cover themselves and/or apply pressure while having these big greedy taunts
Ya nailed it, the whole without boomboss, a lot of decks can handle the rezzes at the moment, bit the boomboss part of warrior is what is so devastating most games
I think a lot of you are underestimating the threat level this turtle poses when he drops onto the field turn 5 with chemical spill. Not only does it have taunt and elusive, and not only does it have 30 health (25 if chem spill pulls it), and not only does it give the warrior armor every time it’s hit… but it also gains attack with each hit as well. How are you killing this thing if it’s cheated out ahead of curve like that? Warrior will be running the terran starship stuff, so you’ll have starports and other early game cards to keep parity with your own board. How do you plan on trading into this massive body without needing to take 5 or 6 hits to get there? By that point the turtle is gonna have 6 or 7 attack and actually start swinging back with intensity. And you can’t ignore it either, because that means he’s just gonna launch battlecruisers and jim raynor you to death.
You don’t.
You have to delay.
Even If you Deal with it a New one Will be born anyway.
Between this and unkiliax we can say that blizzard is finally implementing Boss Minions.
That is a concept that exist in many card games of cards not That easy to Deal with that people have to fight around then.
People in hearthstone are too used to remove literally anything with a single card when big stuff should not be that easy.
Even in the case this ends running the meta i would probably be more for chemical spill nerf than nerfing those cards.
Royal Librarian is still in the core and it will stay, neutral, silence minion. It will be a must have after the rotation I think.

I’m less worried about the occasional cheat out on 5 than it ressing back later, which almost always happens if the game doesn’t end early (and unless the warrior crashes badly, he will make it there)
The first one you may have the resources or the right answer for it, but the 2nd and 3rd and possibly more time? And the res is likely going to come with 2 other big high value taunts?
Giving warrior the druid tourist is one of the most broken things they have done… but it is also completely intended. The devs work about one year ahead of what’s released, so they know about emerald dream when making perils, or planned it alongside it.
