Add up all the rewards from level 1-50 and you can make a decision now.
It’s 4.2k gold, 7 darkmoon faire packs and 9 old packs.
You can get to level 50 completing every single quests for 4 months. Every level gives 150g after that, it’s about 4k-4.5k XP so takes about 10-11 hours of game time per level.
Weekly quests bring the total up to 11,600 per week minimum before accounting for any time played whatsoever. That’s enough to clear 50.
and awards 4200 gold, not the 7k+ that 1 hour every 3 days achieved in the past.
644000 experience level 1-50. 3400 xp every 3 days.
644000/3400 = 189 days.
only 120ish days between sets…

Plus the weekly quest that will allways give us 6000.
In the past we use to get 450 during the week (just for daily quests)

Not that it really matters, but just wanted to say 13.7 hours per day for 150 is a little off cause I saw you throw this stat a few places. Under assumption 400 per hour it would take 1000 hours to make 400,000 exp ( almost the difference from quest exp to level 150) 1,000 hrs divided by 119 (17 weeks or 1/3 of year) is 8.4 hrs per day.
Yeah, I just redid the math and I’m unsure how I landed on that. It’s 9 hrs and change if you roll all 800xp dailies, so it would realistically be less than that.

You need 196200XP to get lvl 50
So…
800XP x 7 days (worst case from the daily quests) plus 6000XP (from the weekly quest) give us 11600XP
And 11600XP x 17 weeks (the number of weeks that normaly has an expancion) give us 197200

4200 gold is > 7000. Your math is still off. 3 days @1 hour every 3 days is just over 239K experience, in 121 days.
That puts you at level 60, 1 hour every 3 days (assuming you can actually complete your weeklies in that time frame, which remains to be seen, some are pretty cray cray).
Still less than seen previously.

And its also correct that 7000+ > 4200

Obviously 7000 is more than 4200, but were did those numbers came from? Or what are them supose to mean
4200 for level 50.
7000+ for the same time commitment under the old system.
We are NOT better off as you claim, we arent even on equal grounds.
