Tram Heist is absolutely awful, it’s four mana to get value to your hand, which is the one thing priest doesn’t need. In any case where your opponent played enough stuff to be worth copying, you probably need your mana to answer to those things rather than getting copies to your hand.
I won’t be a degenerate and okay the Warlock Titan. Pretty simple.
Playing against priest is a breeze when you have a 9 mana warlock legendary degenerate card. You just play it. Then you win. It’s not like priest can copy it a bunch to punish the degeneracy.
I think the heal card WOULD have been good if it could be used with some of the overheal cards, it seems like it doesn’t right now, but I don’t think that’s confirmed.
The shadeleaf card is solid. Really good. But not really better than Priest’s current removal package, so probably a card that’ll see more play in the next rotation. But I like it.
Fireflies I think would be good if it were 4 mana. A board of 1/1s is pretty good at 4 mana, pretty bad at 5. (And getting another board for 1 mana, but it’s only 3-5 or something seems eh)
Pip seems… cool. There’s A LOT of good 1 cost priest cards that she generates extra copies of. I think the 1 cost package is pretty good.
Thrive on a Stick is great. Super good card. Quickdraw or not.
The other copy cards seem bad. Again, might be better next april, but for now they seem meh.
So priest got absolute trash. Again. But this time focused on 1 mana cards. Yay.
Last expansion for some reason transform, automatron. TBF 2 great cards - Titan and creation.
In festival few filler cards and overheal bullcrap.
In lich king - undead package + canibalize.
Nathria - stealing and buffing minions. TBF 1 great card - Theft.
Sunken City - naga package.
Rotation cycle is slowly ending and out of 6 expansions, they are all focused on something completely different, mostly random trash without any thoughts with less than 10 strong cards…
I don’t play with this class and I want it to explode!
Injured Hauler looks like trash.
0/5 Star Power.
Benevolant Banker is super strong. Delete Renathal.
6/5 Star Power.
Pip the Potent looks like it could be fun.
Priestess Valishj is 1 mana and your going to need some way to refresh mana. If Radiant Elemental were back you could put Power Word: Synronize to 1 mana. There is the 2 mana naga that reduces a spell by 1, but that probably isn’t worth it.
5/5 Star Power in general as a card.
Thirsty Drifter is probably really good.
5-6/5 Star Power.
I bet Elise, Badlands Savior gets buffed to 7 mana and becomes broken.
“if your deck has no duplicates” is kind of long. I wish Blizzard would just make a keyword.
Could Highlander or Singleton just be put in front of Battlecry: ?
3/5 Star Power, if it’s the only highlander payoff.
Swarm of Lightbugs looks fun and very broken.
6/5 Star Power.
I love Tram Heist.
Yet, for now it just looks like a card that will be discovered off of Nerubian Vizer or not exist.
5/5 Star Power, off of Nerubian every 15 games.
Posse Possesion is interesting and I like it.
It’s going to be really good to Discover/Generate.
Aggro Decks exist, so It’s probably not hard runnable outside of something like “give your opponent a minion” type cards existing.
5/5 Star Power, as a Discover Option.
Invasive Shadeleaf looks terrible because it’s too expensive.
Cannibalize is 3x stronger.
The bottled part would have to be able to go face for it to even be considered.
Even if Radiant Elemental existed, your paying 3 mana for this and I would always skip it.
The only possible use I see is some type of future combo stuff. Ashtongue + Mo’arg.
-3/5 Star Power. Dillutes the Discover Pool. Super Trash 4 mana spell.
Holy Springwater looks fun and strong if Radiant Elemental, Nazmani Bloodweaver, or similar existed.
I don’t think any Priest deck wants to pay a Natural 2-3 Mana for the card at all. The Damaged Character part is also way too heavy of a tax on the card if your not running a Cost Reducer.
5-6/5 Star Power, if Reducers exist. Otherwise, it’s just another Nerubian Vizer/School Teacher Discover card.
All the spells seem to be a little more expensive to counteract priests having love everlasting and to dodge school teacher.
For control/greed priest these are like extra options. Not necessarily making the deck more powerful but you’ll see slightly different plays in games.
New spells, particularly shadow spells for svalna also means it’ll affect discover pool a bit.
Is Injured Hauler really that bad? It’s a board clear that can trigger on repeated turns. Aggro is never getting back on board if you stick an Injured Hauler.
Simply put - Priest has tons of boardclear, which is much more efficient, does not require setup (or if it does, it does not require multicard combo) and is just overall better.
It is complete trash, unless you get some win condition for overheal priest, which would really enable you to win. If this dealt overheal (as total number) to face as well, it might be worth it.
Imagine this - how do you activate it? You need to heal 5. Do you run flash heal? This card is useless. The new card needs 3 mana. Other card which heals 8 needs 3 mana. Or you need to use 2 cards for it. Or hero power, so +2 mana. Overall most likely 6 mana 2-3 cards commitment to deal 2. It will get damaged most likely, so you cant activate it with hero power alone next turn, so again you need card+hero power.
It is simply extremely ineffective. If it dealt damage to face, it would still be bad. It would need to deal the overheal all together to be considered good boardclear and to even consider play overheal package, I would guess all the overheal would need to go face as well, so you have chance to kill opponent.
The 2 mana heal becomes 1 mana if you cast it on turn 2. Best case: fan club on 1, create 1 mana heal 8 on 2, then turn 4 injured hauler plus 1 mana heal 5-8 potion, plus fanclub activation is a 2x2 damage AoE, and leaves a 3/7 that can AoE over and over. That completely shuts out a lot of decks.
Double fan club can activate it on turn 3 also. It’s not as hard to activate as people are making it out.
So you run 6 terrible cards on their own (you dont want to play any of these cards by themselves most likely, only as a filler in 40cards deck) and you are counting with them coming in specific order so you can combo on T4.
There are so many times, that this will not work:
If you have Hauler without healing against aggro, you are screwed.
If you have healing without Hauler against aggro, you are screwed.
If you do your combo on 3 against aggro and he kills/damages enough Hauler and he spawns board afterwards, you are screwed.
If you do your combo on 3 and run out of healing and he spawns board afterwards, you are screwed.
If your opponent plays control, it is close to useless - so you are screwed.
If your opponent plays OTK, it is close to useless - so you are screwed.
So yeah, it is bad card, because you need setup of 3 cards, that are mostly bad on their own, costing together 7 mana to deal 4 damage to the board and have 3/7 on the board with upside, that you might (or might not) deal more damage next turn depending whether you have any more healing to continue dealing damage to the board.
Yeah, in theory, it might work. Best case scenario looks great, but most likely you will be missing 1-2 pieces of 3 pieces combo and will be screwed, because what will you do, if the best case scenario is not there?
Play 3/3 for 3, do nothing? Heal your face for 8 and hope you dont die?
How about those new treasure cards that you can dig? Maybe this card was done thinking about them (you could access tier 3 treasures without digging a single time)
It should be good for situations like the invitations generated by the countess or stuff like that too
Its no wonder you lose a bunch of games and whine on the forums if you think you win a game after playing a single 9 mana card. Sargeras was only a win condition when he could be cheated out early via symphony. Now it’s hardly an issue and plays just like any other titan. If you are going to cry, at least cry about something that is a current issue.
After looking at Death Knight’s upcoming cards and comparing them to priest, all I can do is heave a disappointed sigh. Priest does not really need more copy cards, they are really pigeonholing priest players. Have to keep making do with worse versions of what other classes get I suppose. And you guys wonder why priests resort to copying your cards?
It exists as a replacement after Identity Theft rotates.
No one will be running this when Identity Theft rotates. It’s atrocious at 4 mana. This would have to be 2 mana to even be considered running. It’s so far off the mark mana wise.
It’s a priest card Schyla, you know Blizzard always penalizes the mana cost based on that alone lol. They can’t make it so cheap that you might actually end up using the cards you get on the same turn…
Banker seems pretty good! 3-mana shadow visions with a stick at the minimum, with some serious potential for disruption. Tram Heist is a decent ETC option for some matchups like Warlock and Blood DK. I’ll be trying it + Theotar + Steamcleaner in a Highlander deck. Possibly with an Overheal/Menagerie theme? Having a higher curve might make High Noon Duelist a viable addition.
Not sure about the 1-drop stuff though.
It’s vaguely playable at 3.
4 is way too slow for a pure value card. The mana cost is balanced around endless love, though, unfortunately.
