I don’t think many people are getting the full grasp of it.
Tickatus had a much harder setup. This will be a lot easier and faster. With decent draw and tutor, it will be consistent.
Everyone will just find out come expansion time. Guarantee these boards fill with disgust that rivals Tickatus.

If it does work as you all suggest it will be nerf fast because that would make the card op. That would kill all other classes but warriors with no counter it would be the worst druids otks.

Read the whole thread and think about what cards exist in standard already. It could already be countered.

It will be surely powerful, but we don’t know how what warrior’s core set will be and based on the cards he has currently he is less likely controll-ish, but midrange and depends on what Warrior will have this deck might end up not really effective and lose to aggro or other control decks with disruption tools.
I guess only few players here experienced Toggwaggle+Geist meta.

But what if Jade druids hides his idol in ETC or reduces the cost of one idol to 0, then you’re screwed.

Meanwhile Curse Warlock will still exist. That will ruin fatigue warrior.
I’m sure there will still be classes capable of killing you by turn 7. Blood DK can kill on turn 7 if you don’t do anything (source, I used triple Blood to beat a Frost Mage on turn 7 this morning).
There are decks and neutral minions in Standard right now that could counter this alleged Warrior strategy.

You can just play this card in a shaman deck and then include 2 prescience, 22 other crappy spells, the 4 evolve spells and another minion to tutor with prescience

Then you still lose when they swap back.

Perhaps I misunderstand the card. I know if you transform the priest steal card it doesnt transfer back the stolen card to the owner and I believe it works on the same ‘aura’ principle. Would not transforming the pirate card invalidate the deck switch back.
Thinking along that line I’d imagine silence would work too, so you could tutor the 2 mana freeze / silence minion and use that as well

Curse warlock won’t be nearly as strong. Losing brann and Tamsin hurt.

That’s because that minion’s swap back effect is tied to a deathrattle, this is not.

Let’s be honest here. This is an interaction that clearly slipped through the devs testing. Nobody on their end must have thought to combine Tony with fires of zin’azshara. This isn’t the type of deck they would want to be allowed to exist. You know what’s going to happen now that they’ve been made aware of the interaction right? The fires of Zin’aszhara is going to get the test subject treatment. On day 1 of the expansion it will be banned from play in all formats until they can figure out how to rework in. In wild you can expect explore ungoro and most likely cera’thine fleetrunner to be banned as well. It’s not the type of interaction they can afford to ignore.

This looks like one of the cards that will be nerfed in the first round of nerf and not being its a high win rate but because it will be common enough to survive to play this card and then win because the deck you gave the opponent is utter garbage and do nothing beyond surviving to turn 5 to play this.

Okay but,
- Phylactery Warlock that can only be stopped if you Theotar their Phylactery

- Felic DH with Scythe so that you can’t target their minions

- Ramp Druid with original Brann + Astalor since manathirst is attached to battlecry, which was not intuitive and had to be played to be explicitly identified

These are all decks that can still just straight up kill you on turns 7/8, even Druid after the Astalor nerf.
This theoretical warrior can be both hard-countered and soft-countered depending on how many minions go into the final deck. Cards introduced in the last year, which will still be around, can be included to fight it. Or you can just play aggro and kill it before it gets the combo off, Blood DK is stuck in tier 4 despite having decent anti-aggro tools to fight things like Undead Priest and Aggro Paladin.

I’m not convinced they don’t know about that interaction. It’s the first interaction you look at in standard.
