7 mana legendary neutral spell
Get all 5 Dream cards. If you played a higher cost card while holding this, corrupt them!
The 5 dream cards are the Ysera/Naralex dream cards; Dream, Nightmare, Laughing Sister, Emerald Drake and Ysera Awakens.
Corrupted versions are Corrupted Dream - 0 cost spell, Shuffle a minion into its owner’s deck; Corrupted Nightmare - 0 cost spell, give a minion +5/+5 and Immune this turn; Corrupted Laughing Sister - 2 mana 6/10 minion with Elusive and your Hero has Elusive too; Corrupted Awakening - 2 mana spell deal 5 damage to all enemies, ESPECIALLY Ysera (it says so (it kills Ysera)); and Corrupted Drake, 4 mana 14/12 dragon minion.
Hard to get the corrupted versions but pretty powerful if you do I guess. Dunno if it’s worth running unless you routinely go to turn 9 or more. Good against Ysera I guess for the killing Ysera effect.
Lore: In World of Warcraft Shaladrassil is a corrupted World Tree in Val’sharah on the Broken Isles (Legion expansion), home to the Emerald Nightmare raid and Darkheart Thicket dungeon. The satyrs were forced to slumber there after the War of the Ancients.
Flavorwise it is top notch. They married hearthstone and wow greatly here. Big ramp druid definetely gonna be a thing, but the pay off is not that great, except the elusive minion.
So the idea is turn 8 you corrupt it, then turn 9 you play it and can use basically 3 of the 5 cards right away, namely the 2 mana clear.
Though depending on what you face, 5 damage AoE on turn 9 might actually not be enough? That’s assuming you didn’t die before that.
Though suppose you can use it, then…
Druid with mage tourist is rubbing their hands.
Be priest with hunter tourist
Corrupt the spell
When minion can hit face, play corrupted drake, buff it with 5/5, use tourist to give that 19/17 to your other minion
Orb mage in theory has another 7 mana spell to choose from, but the corrupt nature means it’s clunky, though… isn’t volley rotating? So they would need a turn 9 play
Hagatha drawing this would mean you can’t corrupt it doesn’t it? Well that’s one thing that won’t work… but if we being greedy, their legendary draenei can soak up one of the corrupted spells into the location. And shaman does have a few big cards t hat just aren’t played right now because everybody’s playing terran (with the occasional asteroid still being around)
