Where is the option for me to buy a win? I dont see it in the shop…

You have lost, you are changing the definition of what p2w is in a feeble attempt to support your agenda.

That would only be true if the Paying player only fought against people which had only basic cards - but because that doesn’t happen (because of the MMR system) then within 5 or so games they will be playing against players with similar quality decks.

I mean, come on, I’ve never spent a dime - I’ve got multiple top tier decks as a very casual player. How on earth do I know which of my opponents have paid? Do they know I haven’t paid? Does not paying give me any disadvantage against other players? No, of course it doesn’t, because I’ve still got a great deck.

(Lastly, just because you’ve mentioned google, Google ‘is Hearthstone pay to win’ and read the overwhelming consensus that it’s not.)

You lost, now you get so defensive about it. I don’t change anything P2W is P2W, that’s all that’s it.

Sorry guys, I got held up at the business office. Need to check Mir out of school.

I will all but guarantee i can perform better f2p than you could with a full collection.

Yes, please berate your opponent more. That’s definitely the mature way to go about a debate and definitely sure to help you win the argument/convince your opponent that yours is the winning side. >.>

You see I don’t need to google P2W, I know what it is and it’s heartstone… you might not feel that way but I do, and it was clear that it was p2w. Facts cannot be wrong my guy.

Facts also require evidence. Thats sorta what makes them facts. So wheres your evidence?

You won’t preform better, why you acting like this.

Yes it does, and it’s been proven.

Forgot about your reply, sorry. Mr defender.

I didn’t say google P2W, I said google ‘Is Hearthstone P2W’.

Also, ‘paying to win’ isn’t a fact, that’s like saying ‘running’ is a fact, it just doesn’t make sense.

If you’re saying Hearthstone being P2W is a ‘fact’ then, why does the overwhelming majority disagree with it?

You’re sitting behind the only legitimate claim you’ve made and haven’t tried to listen to the people talking to you.

Yes, Hearthstone is “pay to win” for the first few months of any new account. As soon as your first genuine competitive deck is built, the advantage(s) you gain from spending money drop drastically. Moreover, the money required to build a meta deck (in the case of events you decide to go that route) is much lower than the stereotypical gamer-who-pays-hundreds-to-win-more. As soon as you build a competitive deck (which is more than feasible within your first month if you know what you’re doing), there is little t no advantage to be gained from spending money. While Hearthstone is admittedly not as free as games like chess or Tetris, it is much more f2p than an overwhelming majority of the games that define the p2w “genre”.

Don’t want to disagree with you Infinity (you’re awesome :D) - but I’m pretty sure you can craft a top tier deck within days, not months of installing.

As I said earlier, it’s been a long time since I started a new account, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have had the patience to wait months. I’m very impatient, I doubt I would have waited a week =S

All i needed to hear from you, also only thing i read.

Paying 2 win is a clear fact, if you bought n won. We can do this all night, Im bored like you. But there is 4 kids that want the attention you getting.

Is that a fact? I had no idea, thanks for informing me. It’s been a long time since I was a new player, and back then you had to grind gold for a month to buy adventures and unlock competitive cards.

Cherrypicking and refusal to discuss, truly the bread and butter of any intellectual discourse >.>

Rosatine, see when you ask me a question upon a question, u seem like you are not sure, like you are seeking, (confirmaton? I think) damn forgot the word.

Anyway at least the guy who disagreed with me finally said that it was P2W and i won my case. Disagree or agree this won’t stop.

When did I disagree? Lol. If you read through my posts I’ve always been of the opinion that Hearthstone is P2W for any new account. if you chose to read my post above you’d know that I also believe that because the game isn’t p2w for anyone outside those very early stages, the game itself is also not p2w. To use a past analogy, calling Hearthstone “p2w” is akin to calling Mayonnaise “watery”. Technically you’d be correct as Mayo is 7-8% water, but using it as a primary descriptor is misleading at best and probably not the best way to go about discussing the subject matter.
