Blizzard need maxi set not a mini set to make a proper “game” out of this. And a lots of nerfs, balance etc.
The 3 drop that shuffles your hand in the draws a new one is interesting for those looking to boomboss.
You’ll shuffle 6 TNT in, then draw a new hand of equal size twice.
Unlike Finley, any TNT drawn will trigger.

The fact that Brann is encouraging power BC cards in the deck is going to naturally attract the Brewmaster to the deck to make it even more disgusting.
brann +legendary spell and threon and you can see a “100/100stat” minion hit face or Remornia 1hit OTK face weapon …

Oh goodie, Power word steal. That’s just what priest needed to raise its win rate…NOT!! Bleuch. On an unrelated note, they’re really trying to push the overheal envelope. The 2 drop elemental is cute. Too bad overheal doesn’t kill the opponent and priest still lacks a win condition.
Warrior bran is total BS as expected Brann would be. Plague DK stocks rising. I kinda wonder if steamcleaner gets moved to core in March. If not you’re just gonna see plague DK for eternity because it’s the only thing that can reliably shut off highlander payoffs. Brann and reno control warrior isn’t gonna be fun to play against. Like… at all. Double Boomboss and whatever other nonsense they can cook up to combo with odyn is gonna be a miserable play experience.

It wouldn’t matter. There aren’t enough ways to capitalize on bad luck albatross. All the good deathrattle synergies have long since rotated to wild. Rise of shadows/saviors ressurect priest had psychopomp, grave rune, mass ressurect and more. What do we have now that could make a bunch of albatrosses? Ravenous Kraken? That’s not gonna cut it. Creation protocol? It costs 4 mana to forge and play it and at that point you’d probably be better off using it for amanthul’s or autonamaton or something else.
It’s ironic because the class best suited to abuse bad luck albatross is death knight. they have yoedeler and death growl. But they’re already playing plagues, so they’d rather just play helya and be done with it.

Oh come on, you’re insinuating a permanent brann effect that doesn’t go away when you kill brann’s body is gonna warp the meta. Permanent effects like Odyn aren’t even that good right? When has brann ever warped the meta with his double battlecry effects? I’m sure it’ll be fiiiine.

I’m genuinely not sure what is more powerful. Theotar fishing for the card you might have in hand before you play it or this one that just steals it after you play it. I’m leaning toward the steal because you can do it twice and discover more copies of it till rotation.

It’s broken in warrior just as much as any other class. Warrior has plenty of battlecries to abuse. Blast Tortoise and Boomboss Tho’grunn are the most obvious, but any battlecry could become a problem. Would you really like it if warrior could double up on Theotar? How about lorethemarr Theorin? They could nuke you in the face for 16 with Alextraza the life binder, or get two treasures from queen azshara. Even drawing two cards with treasure guard or steam guardian is pretty good. And it’s an effect we’ll have for the next year, so any new battlecries warrior gains access to down the road could all become an issue. Getting 6 elementals off maruut stonebinder is no joke either tbh.

Well, I wasn’t specifically thinking Priest would be using albatross.
But, if it’s at least in core, other classes can use it and tone down HL decks a tad. Plus, we don’t know what this year holds for Priest cards. It’s been over a year since we had a deathrattle package. Hoping this year ditches the Shadow stuff and goes back to some Rez stuff.

I’m not 100% sure why people are so upset at Shadow Word Steal other than the name.
If you have 2 minions on board that are good, Priest could play Fight Over Me and ram them into each other and get BOTH or even kill 1 and get the other…for 1 less mana. This card currently sees no play in Priest because it’s not good enough in this meta.
Priest can already kill your minion and get a copy of it in hand for 3 mana right now. (light burns and synchronize)
5 mana remove 1 minion is really bad. Yeah, you get a copy of it in hand, that’s good. But you likely aren’t playing it that turn. So 5 mana removal. Tell me who is paying 5 mana for a single minion removal? No one.
People put too much stock into copy effects. They’re bad. You know how you can tell they’re bad? Priest has more copy effects right now than ever before and it’s bad.
