No, really. They added that in recently to balance the Mysterious Stranger nerf. With that, it became harder to find new Tasks to level up your mercs, but now the Tasks move on to the next one, making it easier to get coins for those. If you want to switch mercs, you’ll have to abandon them and hope you get better the following day.
