I don’t think this means what you think it means.
Pirate warrior farms noobs and gets destroyed by competent players at higher ranks.
Those stalwart yeoman doing the lord’s work farming bronze and silver have a place in the world, and it is to teach people like you to get gud, son.

The deck has made a bit of a resurgence on ladder with Renathal, but I don’t feel it’s overwhelmingly strong or anything.
Though there’s still a lot of card design that I find obnoxious about it.
It feels like it takes very little skill to get a win condition
They just tried way too hard to make the questlines relevant.
The easy conditions, the recurrant rewards AND the game-ending effects combined were just too much for a single card.
Cut any one of those things and I think they would have been a lot easier to balance.
