Mage 2 mana pyroblast

both weapon rogue deck have a sort of otk finisher, all they care about is drawing through. and you can only freeze the face twice.
The problem with HP mage, and why it´s a tier 3-4 deck is its consistency. It looks really strong when you get your good curve, but boy does it fall apart.

Rogue on the other hand kills you turn 5 on a good draft and turn 8 on a terrible. Unfortunately there´s not enough of the matchup in the statistics, but i´d be surprised if its favoured for the mage overall.

This ^^^

As other optimal decks have been found, Ping Mage experimentation and playrate has fallen back down to around 5% or lower as you go up in ranks towards 1k Legend.

The mage whine never stops. Good at all is too good.
Everything in this game is power crept and busted to insane levels, but a tier three deck is too good.
Nothing ever changes in forums. Mediocre players whining because they can’t beat an average at best deck.

Sooooooo… I was correct then.

No doesn’t bother me with the level of investment required.

No you have to jump through many hoops to get there. If you can get there you before someone is a crater you deserve your Hero Power Pyroblasts.

Well…

As a player i gonna stop discussing this specific subject from now on and suggest anyone against nerfs based solely on popularity to do the same.

It isn’t like you can argue against irrational ranting and people trying to say that it’s bad are literally Just bumping this thread.

I know some believe it’s inconsequential but i believe that If you’re really against something you should not take It to the spotlight in first place.
Just let what you disagree with die.

My bad, I actually hadn’t looked at the wildfire mage lists. Mine runs potion of illusion so I can re-freeze face, especially if I’m running the version with the shadoweavers. Surprised that didn’t make the cut. Super flexible card, especially in decks that can’t keep your board clear.

But yeah, the two lists on VS look like they would have trouble (and the Rune list looks really bad).

Wildfire rogue is strong against weapon rogue because of its ability to spam masks of c’thun which go through the cloack.

The 2 freeze HP you can try to do in the early game will only deny draw with the weapon while applying pressure. Just earning time.
