All the while mage is able to roll out mountain giant on turn 4 and then CC immediately afterwards on turn 5 then they don’t have much to complain about really.
Power of Creation as well, which is basically like “summon the perfect minion x2 and win the game”.
And now Flakmage …
Lol at the forums? Hell no.
Lol at you mate.

Hearthstone designer wants to know why people aren’t playing it as much
By [Andy Chalk] February 20, 2019" Source PCGAMER
" Wondering why? Lead balance designer August Dean Ayala wants to know, too. So a couple of days ago he asked: request for input has generated more than 2000 responses so far, some of them actually helpful. This one from Hearthstone pro David “Dog” Caero, is particularly thoughtful, touching on topics ranging from matchup polarization and a lack of game modes to complaints about specific cards. The biggest issue, he said, is simply that new content is consumed too quickly, so everything settles into a too-familiar meta.
I think Hearthstone needs more game modes and more ways to play your cards," he wrote. “The reason wild doesn’t see play is because they don’t have a rotating set so everything feels the repetitive—same old busted combos every single game.”
Article was from Feb 2019 but still VERY accurate today. Each release gets old boring s=and satellite very fast. Same old BORKEN combos.

To be fair it isn’t about broken combos and maybe even the opposite.
Always they do a change there is people on the other side of the board were have to deal with nerfs to stuff they like.
When you do unnecessary nerfs just “because unfun” you will have pretty much a negative answer from that public.
The game not feels fresh to those people. It just feels like blizzard is babyssiting their casual players to not have to deal with what the game can offer.
Have more game modes would remove that insane pressure from playerbase from standard and maybe allow people to play how they want and not get their stuff nerf into oblivion just because some part of the playerbase not likes it.
Nerfs are for overpowered stuff and only for in fact overpowered stuff. The frustration of any person should not have anything to do with changes to powerlevel of cards.
I seldom agree with you, but you are right.
They actually did implement a fully rotating Arena. I have advocated for a similar constructed mode where one set rotates every two months to allow mid power level cards currently in Wild to see play.
Except they tend to print the same cards every expansion
(Careful: exaggeration)
